Other cultures may not have pressurised us to change the name of Christmas but it's because of the other cultures that it has been changed. People of a British culture live in countries which largely consist of a different culture yet they don't change the names of their tradtions. In my view if someone is going to live in an with different cultures then they have to tolerate them. So for example with this Muslim head-gear, if they are coming into a society which does not allow them to wear a veil then they have to respect and abide by that. If there was a doctor who did not like Black people, they could not let their personal views interfere with their job. So in the case with the Muslim teacher, she cannot let her views interfere with her work. What we see in the media is an attempt to portray ALL muslims as brainwashed potential suicide bombers who hate Britain and hate British culture and want everything that doesn't appeal to them banned while trying to turn Britain into an Islamic state governed by Sharia law, when some crackpot extremist says something it is twisted in the media to make it look like ALL muslims agree with him Almost every day in the tabloids there is enotive headlines like "Muslims get Christmas banned" with a pic of a little child and some mum saying that their council won't allow a nativity play this year and the child is in floods of tears, that kind of $h!t to try and tug onto the emotional heartstrings and try make people think "****ing muslims why cant they **** off back to pakistan". I would say at best 1% of muslims in this country are extremists who want to impose stuff on England but the other 99% get a bad name in the media because of it I would say a large majority of the anti muslim hatred in this country is because of scare stories planted in the Murdoch papers The absolute bulk of muslims in this country are far more interested in working hard, paying their mortgages, providing for their families, getting their kids a good education as opposed to trying to get everything banned

I do not agree with everything she said and did not by any stretch of the imagination for example the anti homosexual laws, I have made it clear many a time that I have a tolerance of homosexuality but with regards freedom of speech and privacy there is far less freedom of speech and privacy under Blair than there ever was under Thatcher, we are the most spied upon nation by the authorities in the civilised world under Blair on top of that anti war protesters are arrested and harassed by police in Parliament Square, people are arrested under anti terror legislation for having a bad thing to say about a minister making a speech, demonstrations are banned within Westminster and surrounding areas, none of that happened under Maggie, I would say Blair is far more of an anti freedom of speech dictator than Maggie ever was Edited November 18, 200618 yr by Kimi Räikkönen

November 18, 200618 yr each religion has their own traditions, muslims despise the wearing of short skirts and of people wearing no shirt yet they respect the right in the west for people to wear short skirts and to wear no shirt in the summer so if they are putting up with something that is offensive to them then why can't we put up with something that might be offensive to some of us ? Islamic muslims do not like the exposing of flesh, it may seem weird to us but what we wear is weird to them so live and let live as far as I am concerned. are we allowed to wear short skirts or bare chests in an islamic country?.... no. so if wearing a mask is now deamed as unacceptable then i see no problem in that. i must admit though, i find it quite strange that you as a jewish person should be sticking up for a religion that wants to exterminate your race!

I am not pro Islam, there are many things about their religion I find abhorrent such as their views towards homosexuality, their treatment of women, their treatment of animals and much more, its not about defending Islam its about defending human rights with regards what people can and can't wear. And again with regards Islam opinions towards jews again that is just extremists, I hate extremists in ALL religions be they christian, muslim, catholic or whatever, the muslims I know (20-30 of them) have no issues whatsoever with jews and I don't want to label everyone in a religion because of a few extremists. The world would be a better place if ALL religions were scrapped
