Well the supporting act was on for bout 30mins and finished at 8 30. Then, we waited for 1 whole hour for her to come on, and eventually came on at 9 30 and was on for about 2 hours. So, finished about 11 30 - tho i dont know how long she'll make you wait.

 

The setlist i think that already posted is about right (il have to check tho). Oh and the introduction to the 'circus' part of the show is amazing - people on stilts, fire in their mouths, swinging form the air - i thought it was pretty cool :D

 

If you want il go through the whole night and each song seperately - but not sure how much you want me to spoil it for you?

Is she always going to come on as late as 9:30pm? Cuz 11:30pm is quite late for concerts to finish - usually the act comes on about 8:30-9pm and finishes by 10:30pm!!

Well thats what i had in mind too - but no - she deffo began at 9 30...cuz everytime i herad the 'boos' i looked at my watch. And id say i 11.30 was around the time it finished too.

 

 

With the standing thing - yeah i was standing and didnt get to the arena till 7ish - which was a great idea - as there was no queing and we were near the front. However, i saw people queing at 3ish and to be honest - they were only a little nearer than me as i was quite close. So, if i were you dont go too early cuz u get good position to stand and you dont even have to push.

 

Im just going to find the setlist now :D

Back to Basics Tour Line Up

 

 

1.Back To Basics (video intro)

It started on the screen as her getting ready and walking down corridors to dressing rooms etc in her 1940's way. Putting her lipstick on etc It went on for ages and got the crowd well hyped up.

 

2.Ain’t No Other Man

Then, she just seemed to pop up lol. In a little white tight outfit with a white tophat - tho we couldnt see her face at this point. Lots of hot dancing and the musicians in the back ground.

 

3.Back In The Day

She threw her hat off and sang to the crowd while the dancers were around her for this one. In the middle of it some musicians came to the front with her

 

4.Carwash/Come On Over (Remix)

This 'remix' had more of a jazzy 1940's vibe to it than its famous 'pop.'

 

5.Makes Me Wanna Pray

THIS WAS AMAZING!!! She stood in the middle of the stage and belted this one out. Surrounding her was the dancers in a 'bar scene' Then all of a sudden she shot up on a piano in a red sparkle thing. She stood on the piano and sang at one point - shes so small but has amzing legs - so jealous.

 

6.Oh Mother

Im not sure that this was sang so early on in the concert - but i could be wrong. It started with her referring to and 'thanking' her mom while on the screens behind her a man and a woman - with actions implying abuse. It ended with her leaving the stage and a message on the screen: 'I love you, mom.'

 

7.Understand

She sang this on her own in a little top and shorts with like a long skirt suroundding her hips. Very nice!!

 

8.Slow Down Baby

Haha..i loved this - she ran around the stage while her male dancers followed her and tried to get her attention and ya no what she did? Jus shoved em off - very nice touch actually. It was truly wonderful.

 

9.Can’t Hold Us Down

In this she got all as girls throwing our hand up etc. Cant remember much about it tho.

 

10.Here To stay (Pepsi Remix)

Again, not to sure on this!

 

11.F.U.S.S video interlude

I think this was the point where there was shots of her in a tin bath with her legs open. And even if it wasnt id better mention it :D

 

12.Dirrty

Im sure 'Still dirrty' was before 'dirrty' but anyway... Again, it had a 1940's feel to it and i deffo perfere the original. Tho it was a good performance. She sat on one of those horses from fairs (i forget what there called -help?) and twirled around on it then got off and did a little pole dancing.

 

13.Still Dirrty

This was performed earlier than this im sure. She wore those trousers she wears in the 'dirrty' video and struts her stuff around the male AND female dancers.

 

14.What a Girl Wants

Im sure this was after MMWP anyways....it was okish thats all i can say :D

 

15.Lady Marmalade - which is apparently going to be a jazz version.

I didnt think this was a jazz version TBH. She sat on one of those chair things (like the one in the lady marmalade vid with lil kim) and had a big red feather thing on her bum - as you can imagine very sexy. The dancers had great pink feathers - one of the highlights i reakon this performance.

 

Then she did the circus bit. Which il write up soon.

Maybe it was just first night technical problems and last minute things which meant she came on later? I guess I'll just see what time she comes on at the rest of the UK dates before Wembley!!

 

I wouldn't mind it finishing late if it wasn't for the travelling home afterwards :wacko: !!

 

Yeah the b**ch made us wait over an hour before she came out last night.

I was DYING.

Rain outside, about 4oC max while queueing, couldn't feel my legs, $h!t support, and then waiting. :@

 

After that though, AMAZING show.

And the video interlude with the GQ photoshoot recreation (bathtub) was I Got Trouble, not F.U.S.S

 

I wanna go back and watch her again :(

Oh yeah, another thing, I know the guy she chose for NNB.

He's gonna die. Hah.
