Watched a fantastic game between Germany and Switzerland tonight, ended up 3-3

Terrible week for Ireland overall what with the COVID issues and defeats roll on November’s games. Anyway the euros probably won’t happen the way things are going!!

England are going nowhere. This squad is so overrated it is unbelievable. Heard someone say on a podcast this was better than the golden generation of 2004-2007 - :lol: There are so many bang average players and we are not going to be the world's best team with Maguire and Pickford at the back. Maguire is so out of form its laughable.

England's Nations League match against Iceland will be played at Wembley on Wednesday after a UK government exemption was given to the away side.

 

Iceland play Denmark in Copenhagen on Sunday and would ordinarily have been subject to a travel ban, prohibiting them from entry into the UK.

This generation is massively overrated.

 

We don't have the players to be able to play on the front foot and the only way we can properly maintain shape is by 3 at the back (which if people remember in the World Cup we scored most of our goals through penalties and set pieces).

 

The squad as usual is flattered with average players who are made out to be the second coming of Christ.

Tonight sees the semi-finals of the Nations League which is taking place in Italy with Italy v Spain and tomorrow night Belgium v France.

 

A repeat of the Euro 2020 semi-final with Italy and Spain. And France looking to redeem themselves following their shock exit in that classic match in the Last 16 against Switzerland, Belgium can 'The Golden Generation' finally win a trophy?

Yeh they had to wait a year but enjoyed the last semi final and final so should be good had a proper tournament feel to it so I hope it develops this century!

Italy's long unbeaten run is over after they lost to Spain in the Nations League semi final. If Spain had done this in the Euro 2020 semi final maybe they would have the European Championship trophy in their cabinet now.

I would pick France tonight against Belgium.
