There's quite a few new releases about now, but because of the nature of the chart most of them don't make a major chart impact at least in their first week.

Taking the most notable new releases of the week I have shortlisted the potentials for Buzzjack's TOTW. Simply vote for your favourites and the song with the most votes will be the official BJ:TOTW winner! :cheer: In the event of a double release/album by an artist, I'll choose the one that's been pushed on Spotify's New Music Friday UK playlist.

The contenders:

Aitch & AJ Tracey (feat. Tay Keith) - Rain

Alec Benjamin - The Book of You & I

Alesso & DubVision - One Last Time

Bazzi - Young & Alive

Biffy Clyro - End Of

David Guetta & MORTEN - Detroit 3 AM

Well that was the most predictable win of the year.

Voted for Biffy Clyro, Haim & Roisin Murphy!

Hope the quality of Haims new track beats another soulless Katy release!
She hasn't released a good track since Never Really Over imho of course.

That's a fair judgement but it's silly to say Never Worn White is soulless when it's quite literally the complete opposite :P

I suppose we will agree to disagree. I would like nothing more than to see a classic uk pop artist get another top 5 hit but a lot of her singles just aren't up to her previous standards and its affected her chart momentum for me.

I think you're missing the point though! You can dislike it if you want, that's fine, but you said soulless - it's one of her most personal, touching tracks ever and you don't have to enjoy it to see that! She's nervous and worried about marriage but excited at the same time, and the video literally unveils her pregnancy. It's packed full of soul, so I found your word choice very confusing.

Well maybe Soulless isn't the right turn of phrase.

Voted for Biffy Clyro, Louis The Child, PVRIS and Rudimental.

I'd normally be thrilled at HAIM leading this poll but I don't particularly like this song oops. xx
