November 19, 200618 yr Oh I see :P It's hard to believe 'Be Here Now' has'nt even passed 2 million conidering it sold 1 million within 2 weeks  I think after everyone realised how bad it was in comparison with What's The Story et al word of mouth kinda stopped their chances of 2 million

November 19, 200618 yr Author I think the Beatles may claim third place on that list and Oasis 9th ^_^ That would push Robbie out though :( :P I definatly think The Beatles will sell over 300k, I also hope Oasis do as well. ^_^ I cant wait for the mid-weeks
November 19, 200618 yr Well, this is going to be one hell of a battle next week for the 1 album. ^_^ there was an article in the press about it today. v important is 'super monday to both retailers and record companies.
November 19, 200618 yr I reckon The Beatles will be like new at #26 getting loads of 4 stars and 5 stars in the press
November 19, 200618 yr Author I reckon The Beatles will be like new at #26 You are living on another planet if you seriously think that
November 19, 200618 yr Author I agree with him. Beatles will be new at 18 If you think they will be #18 then you obviously don't agree with him  Anyone who seriously think they will be outside the top 5 are clearly mad!
November 19, 200618 yr I agree with him. Beatles will be new at 18 That is about as likely as both the MacDonald Bros winning X-Factor 3 and Jan Leeming winning I'm A Celebrity..... The last Beatles Compiliation "1" sold over 28 million copies worldwide, which is more than the total number of Westlife albums sold worldwide.

It's nearly double Westlife's album sales  Also, by the way things are going, I think the MacDonals Bros will actually win the XF :(
November 19, 200618 yr Author Poor U2 btw, no votes at all. The only album that actually has new material on it
November 19, 200618 yr Author beatles,oasis,u2 (that would be probably the best top3 ever) imo. I agree, probebly my 3 favourite bands ever
November 19, 200618 yr it will be interesting to see first week sales. The hardcore fanbase will buy stop the clocks for 2 reasons. 1-To complete their collections 2-It comes with a brand New DVD
November 19, 200618 yr I've checked a few sites to get an idea of how things might go. I've either taken the info from a Pre-Release/Order Chart or extracted the albums from the sites main charts: Amazon: 1 Now 65 2 Westlife 3 Beatles 4 Take That 5 Now Xmas 6 Oasis 7 Il Divo 8 U2 Play: 1 Oasis 2 Westlife 3 U2 4 Beatles 5 Take That (Now 65 is top in separate compiliation chart) HMV: 1 Oasis 2 Westlife 3 Take That 4 Now 65 5 Beatles 6 U2 CD-Wow: 1 Westlife 2 Now 65 3 Oasis 4 U2 5 Beatles So based on those charts it looks like the battle is between Oasis & Westlife.
November 19, 200618 yr Author Westlife sold nearly 40 million albums. Charis, please, just stop acting to ignorant for once -_- Westlife have sold NOWHERE NEAR the amount that Simon or Louis make out. Simon and Louis are known for exaggerated sales of their acts, hence why they said Shayne Ward had sold 3 million  Westlife have SHIPPED less then 15 million albums in Europe, meaing they sold far less. FACT! They has only sold about 200k in Austrailia and hardly anything in South or North America (their last album only sold 3,000 in Brazil  ). They have sold far less than 20 million albums, their record company and deluded fansites like to make up ridiculous figures such as Coast to coast selling 12 million. Anyone that knows anything know that is bull$h!te. Westlife have sold way less than 20 million albums. -_- Now, this thread is not a Westlife thead so I am saying no more -_-
