March 23, 20205 yr I didn't vote in this but wtf at 'Poison' and 'React' being higher than 'Don't Cha' lol ~ (I don't like 'I Hate This Part' either but I get its appeal x)
March 23, 20205 yr Wet should know way be that high it shouldn’t even be top 10 ! React shouldn’t be that high either tbh as much as I like it .
March 24, 20205 yr I forgot to vote but out of the top 5 it should go: 5. React 4. Wet 3. I Hate This Part 2. Don't Hold Your Breath 1. Buttons
March 24, 20205 yr 'Wet', 'I Hate This Part' and especially 'Don't Hold Your Breath' don't deserve top 10 let alone top 5
March 24, 20205 yr Author 05 NICOLE SCHERZINGER - WET [8.82] C9CjviJ5jsc Highest: Cameron (11); Liam, Wall, NickF1, kye, Lukuzz & FUTURE NOSTALGIA (10) + Cqmerqn, WinterFreeze & HarryEzra (09.5) Lowest: gavindeejay, JordanLee & troylovesmusic (07) Heading for the top 5 and kicking us off is the 2nd highest Nicole Scherzinger solo single. Wet was the 4th single from Nicole's debut album 'Killer Love'. It went on to be a solid hit for Nicole, despite an ok peak of #21 in the UK (it was the 4th single from a successful album). It's generic and is hardly original, but it bops. It's easy to see why it was chosen as a single and why it was turned into another success for the album. I'm very surprised it managed to hit top 5 in this rate! I knew it was well liked, but I didn't think it was enough to get top 5. A bop.The video is incred!
March 24, 20205 yr Really strange results! No way should Don’t Cha be that low. Beep & When I Grow Up not Top 10? :drama: I’m here for a Buttons win & Don’t Hold Your Breath being runner up.
March 24, 20205 yr 'Wet' done incredible well considering it was the first single Radio 1 snubbed which was weird considering the success of 'Right There'. It was doing incredible on TV Airplay which explains its peak.
March 24, 20205 yr Wet is definitely one of the highlights from Killer Love, so glad to see it this high
March 24, 20205 yr I think the top 10 is strange because of the inclusions of solo songs. Had it been PCD only I think the top 10 may have made more sense to people! But it’s nice to see other songs than their ‘staples’ get some recognition! (Also pleasantly surprised that IHTP is top 5) Edited March 24, 20205 yr by Prettylittlebry
March 24, 20205 yr I still listen to 'Wet' regularly. Don't shoot me, but for me it's a better version of Rihanna's 'Only Girl'.
March 24, 20205 yr I don’t get the love for Wet at all . It’s so generic and has no identity literally anyone could have sung it ! Edited March 24, 20205 yr by troylovesmusic
March 24, 20205 yr I still listen to 'Wet' regularly. Don't shoot me, but for me it's a better version of Rihanna's 'Only Girl'. why would you be shot for speaking the truth? if only it got the same recognition
March 25, 20205 yr I still listen to 'Wet' regularly. Don't shoot me, but for me it's a better version of Rihanna's 'Only Girl'. My jaw is on the floor at this!!!! Rihanna I’m so sorry
March 25, 20205 yr I still listen to 'Wet' regularly. Don't shoot me, but for me it's a better version of Rihanna's 'Only Girl'. Blasphemy! That would mean Wet is better than most of Rihanna's discography lol.
March 25, 20205 yr Author 04 THE PUSSYCAT DOLLS - REACT [8.96] KM3j_TXeqfc Highest: Cqmerqn & Prettylittlebry (11); Wall, NickF1, kye, Lukuzz, JosephInSpace, Juliano & (Zach) (10) + George.keh, SamJudd, Riser, Jay ☆ & troylovesmusic (09.5) Lowest: gavindeejay (05) + Liam (07) At number 4 is the girls most recent comeback single React. React managed to go top 40 here in the UK, but has struggled to find it's wayback inside the T40 ever since it's debut week. However, it's chart run is impressively consistent for an act of their caliber right now. The song itself is an ear worm and is pretty much exactly what you'd want/expect in a 2020 PCD single. A great song that deserves a longer run in the top 40, but I can't moan too much about it's chart success. However, doesit deserve to be as high as 4 in a rate of their singles? Not for me! Although having said that apart from the 2 I already mentioned above, everyone else gave it an 8 or higher (myself included), but NOBODY gave it a 9! (They were pretty much 8.5's or 9.5's lol).
March 26, 20205 yr Author 03 THE PUSSYCAT DOLLS - I HATE THIS PART [8.98] S97MaG3kOMY Highest: Jack (11); Cqmerqn, Liam, Prettylittlebry, NickF1, George.keh, SamJudd, Tawdry Hepburn, Riser, FUTURE NOSTALGIA, HarryEzra & troylovesmusic (10) + Jonjo & Lukuzz (09.5) Lowest: gavindeejay (04) + ElectroBoy (05) In at 3 and the 2nd highest PCD single is the gorgeous I Hate This Part. The song was a smash for the ladies as it went on to peak at number 12 after 5 weeks on the chart and had a great chart run. It became the 2nd single from their second album 'Doll Domination' and was greatly received by pretty much everyone. It's a PCD essential for me with it's gorgeous melody and infectious chorus and hook with great vocals from the girls Nicole. I'm pleased to see it managed to finish top 3 in this countdown. I wonder if it would have benefitted had Nicole solo stuff not been included? I assume a lot of those 10's that scored DHYB 11 could've potentially changed to 11's. Thus pipping Buttons to the win, potentially? (I always think IHTP and DHYB are v similar and have very similar fanbases). But alas, it is what it is!
