Pleasantly surprised to see Basshunter in the countdown, Brian McKnight not familiar with him, Fetty Wap was listening to 'Trap Queen' today surprised to see him on there. R Kelly well he's tarnished as a musician yes he was good but after Surviving R Kelly, it's awful to hear what he did. I expect more controversial people to appear on the countdown. Rob Thomas, 'Lonely No More ' that was a tune from him along with 'Smooth'.

Lonely No More by Rob Thomas is a BOP!

I had Basshunter as my #30, but I'm not in the voters part? (unless you included Sam Fender after all?!)

I'm shocked that R. Kelly had as many as 36 top 40 singles! His Wikipedia discography has even more, with 42, but I'm guessing the OCC didn't credit him on some of those.

R Kelly would be a lot higher if he wasn’t vile in his home life . ‘She’s got that vibe’ was an early fav.

For those of you that don’t know Brian McKnight his voice is just incredible.

He sang a duet version of Whenever You Call with Mariah Carey on her 1’s album.

Alicia Keys covered ‘Never Felt This Way’ on her debut album.

Somewhat inexplicably I didn't input your votes! I've done so now and Basshunter was your first loss and then only a point so there are no alterations to make the list we've published so far! Phew! Apologies for the oversight.

I've gone back and checked my e-mails and I've not forgotten anyone else so have no fear! :D

Double checked on Polyhex and I make it 36 though i haven't added the 2014 of Bump N Grind to his total and that was already a top 20 hit in 1995, so 37 if you view them as different songs.

Simon Webbe's singles were all BANGERS! His albums though... dear Lord no. Mega disappointing! 'Lay All Yours Hands', 'No Worries', 'After All This Time' & 'Coming Around Again'

Me being R Kelly’s only voter wasn’t a shock.

I can’t deal with his actions but unfortunately I grew up listening to him a lot and I still have positive memories associated with some of his music. I even pushed him down on my list too tbh because of his actions but I couldn’t not have him on it at all.

Simon Webbe definitely had the best solo from the Blue members for me! And his stuff hasn’t really aged either tbh

That's a fair enough explanation Jordan.

I get your point. Although it isn't exactly the same situation, I have to separate Michael Jackson's music from him and his alleged crimes.

The last batch that was out was the worst yet .

Yeah I completely get it too. And I don't care what anyone says or what MJ has or hasn't done, I love his music and I hope he wins this (doubt he will though).
