Just had a look at the Spotify daily chart for GB on 21st March and there are 5 Kenny Rogers songs in the day's top 200

 

1. The Gambler - 170k - 31st

2. Islands In The Stream - 170k - 32nd

3. We've Got Tonight - 83k - 86th

4. Coward Of The County - 79k - 93rd

5. Through The Years - 51k - 190th

 

Not sure I would have guessed We've Got Tonight would be so high, and Through The Years wasn't even a hit single in the UK.

My mum loves a bit of Kenny Rodgers and I got the same love from her. Coward of the county has always been my favourite.

I like a couple of his songs and did buy his greatest hits some years ago, in total I like about 6 of the songs and the rest wouldn't be for me.

Rogers collaborated with Parton on the classic Islands In The Stream single, which has 677,997 UK sales to date and 111,788,727 streams on Spotify. The track is in line to return to the charts this week.
