Badly Drawn Boy has announced his eighth album 'Banana Skin Shoes' - his first since 2010's 'It’s What I’m Thinking Pt.1 – Photographing Snowflakes’. (other than the soundtrack for 'Being Flynn' in 2012)

It's out on May 22nd and has 14 tracks - 'Is This A Dream?' and the title track have already been released.

I didn't actually realise this until not that long ago, but Badly Drawn Boy is a solo artist! (Damon Gough)

Oh yes he is, had decent success during the indie revival in the early century.

The title track is so good! I never really thought much of his random Now That's What I Call Music disc 2 appearances (:kink:) but this is a keeper ~

Right now I think I prefer 'Is This A Dream?' - but they're both great returns!
