dunno about you lot but it doesnt impress me one bit. i hate the celebrity culture, who are these people?... just ordinary guys who act/play sport/sing etc for a living. hollywood is the worst. i couldnt give a flying fcuk who wears what when they marry whom, nor what they get, what whoever wears, or who they are with..

I agree. Couldn't care less about them, or these tv shows like I'm a Celebrity Get Me Outta Here and Big Brother. I don't really want to watch someone sitting in a pool having a conversation.

Well the thing is that it's the fault of the public themselves for putting these people on the pedestall in the first place -_- I mean fair enough you admire a singer or a football player or whatever but people 'worshipping' them goes to some people's heads sometimes and they think they're some kind of god and better than everyone else when they're just like us really..

 

However if someone I like is in the paper I am going to read about it of course but we must not forget that right now 'celebrity' doesn't necessarily mean you do anything like for example you can just have big t*ts or be on some reality show that finished a few months ago. :rolleyes:

Well you can't really blame them for having an expensive wedding, I know if I had the money I would want a spectacular wedding too. However, as you say some people are very interested in who wore what and where people were sitting etc, etc. I find it incredibly sad, but each to their own.

I think all the fuss over Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' wedding is horrendous. I mean who in their right mind would give a ****? :blink:

I'm extremely glad Tom Cruise has gotten married - civil ceremonies should always be applauded... I'm just thankful he's finally been open and honest and confirmed what everyone knew all along anyway.

why?... i think its obscene the amount of money people waste.... i couldnt sleep at night knowing theres kids dying who could be saved whilst i wasted millions on unnecessary trappings just to show off and look good.

 

If celebrities were really popular for being talented at something or doing something good it would be ok, but in most cases it´s just people who got famous for their looks or for being in the right place at the right time, or Paris Hilton´s case, for being born in the right cradle.

I think it's hypocritical to say such thing. There's not much of a difference between all the money they spend in one day in a wedding and all the money you spend going out on a year, or on sweets, or on label clothes, or on gfs, or whatever.
