One of Madonna's most loved videos, directed by Hollywood's David Fincher and winner of three MTV VMA awards. Question is, is it her very best? Discuss.

I have 4 videos what I prefer (which isn’t that many tbh given how many she has :lol: )

 

Like A Prayer, Express Yourself, Frozen and Hung Up are what come to mind when I think Madonna video.

I can't immediately think of one I prefer so I've voted yes... although Like a Prayer and Frozen are both also excellent.

The 'Ray of Light' era videos ('Frozen' / 'Nothing Really Matters') are superior in my opinion (and 'Like A Prayer'), so I had to vote no!

Indeed she has visually better videos but they're not as ICONIC as Vogue and therefore I voted big YES. :smoke:

How can you choose out of vogue, frozen, and express yourself?

I voted yes! Never really thought about ordering Madonna's videos like I have her singles but, going through the videos I like to watch the most in my head, 'Vogue' is standing out as the best. The styling and choreography is flawless - in fact, every element is carefully considered so that the video and song both compliment and elevate each other. One of those videos I can watch over and over.

 

All four of David Fincher's videos would be up there as my favourites, actually.

We could do a video rank of all her singles ? That could be fun!
