December 4, 200618 yr Hi Charity, I was surprised too with the music, did not really know what to expect, but each and every song was brilliant. Cant wait to hear it again. This is a pic I took when Gareth was meeting fans. :D http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v338/hasso/gareth8.jpg Thanks Hasso, Gareth is looking good , and he always has times for his fans . I haven't heard when the documentary is being shown yet, but it should be soon :D
December 4, 200618 yr Charity ITV said it will definately be known in this or next week. Cant wait to hear snippets of the songs again, they all have such a great melody to them.
December 4, 200618 yr I found this song list from the other night. Afterglow Pictures Changes Angel on My Shoulder New kid in Town (only track not written by Gareth) Lost in You Can't believe its over 19 Minutes Has there been any more said about the deal with Universal?
December 4, 200618 yr Author I found this song list from the other night. Afterglow Pictures Changes Angel on My Shoulder New kid in Town (only track not written by Gareth) Lost in You Can't believe its over 19 Minutes Has there been any more said about the deal with Universal? I've not seen anything else said about Universal. I'm praying its true, but of course it is the 3AM girls, so goodness only knows if it is. And as for April for the date of the album release, that seems to be something else they've plucked out of the air. Only a couple of weeks to the Documentary though, so we should find out a bit more then hopefully
December 5, 200618 yr I've not seen anything else said about Universal. I'm praying its true, but of course it is the 3AM girls, so goodness only knows if it is. And as for April for the date of the album release, that seems to be something else they've plucked out of the air. 3AM Girls are not known for their accurate reporting! But I can't help but wonder if they have seen what happened with Take That compared with All Saints and have worked out that when someone has been away for a while, you need to build up the momentum before releasing an album.
December 6, 200618 yr Author Its been officially confirmed by 19 on Gareth's site, the program will be shown on Saturday 23rd December at 7.30 :cheer: Gareth opens up to the cameras for the first time and talks about what his life has been like over the past 3 years. Shows him writing and recording his new material, amongst other things
December 6, 200618 yr I have just seen that, and it sounds real interesting, this is the first time he will be able to speak about everything and I mean everything that has gone on, with his speech being as fluent as I heard it on the gig. :D 7-30 on a Saturday night is a good time too. Cant wait to see it. :cheer: Edited December 6, 200618 yr by hasso

December 11, 200618 yr Apparently Neil Shawn on Sky Entertainment said this morning , he seen Gareth's documentary and its compulsive viewing. And watch out SC. I like the compulsive viewing bit :) Not so sure about the watch out SC bit :( This is Neil Sean after all. Can't believe that I have waited 3 years to see Gareth back on TV and yet this last 2 weeks seems like an eternity. Mr.ITV - Just a little taster advert will make the time go quicker, please
December 12, 200618 yr Neil Sean does tend to have his own very special spin on things!! heat have it as one of their Christmas tv picks, with a new photo showing Gareth singing, presumably from the documentary. Hopefully that means there will be a decent coverage of the musical side of things, not just the controvertial.
December 15, 200618 yr Author I've not seen any adverts for the Documentary yet. Has anyone else? I hope there are going to be at least a few before next Saturday. Must admit to getting a bit hyper now :yahoo:
December 16, 200618 yr I think they might start advertising it after X Factor has finished. They might bill it as what can happen after the show finishes. There is an article about the documentary in the Bradford paper. Understandably they've taken a local angle, but it's interesting all the same. Gareth Gates is back on our TV screens By Sunita Bhatti http://www.thisisbradford.co.uk/_images/db/35/67/l102a6b1.356751.full.jpg Gareth Gates seemed to have the world at his feet at 17 - he was the fastest-selling British debut artist in history, with four number one singles and two best-selling albums to his name. The stammering teenage singer tugged at the heart-strings of the nation. But just four years after being a tearful runner-up on TV's Pop Idol in 2002, he had been dropped by his record company. Now, a TV documentary will chart his life as he first enjoyed fame and a reported £5 million fortune to suffering the public ignominy of being dropped by SonyBMG. And it will reveal what life is like for the former Bradford Cathedral head chorister as he prepares material for his comeback album, due next year. Gareth has been filmed visiting his family at their home near Bingley - which he bought with his earnings - and he will be shown paying a nostalgic visit to the flat where his parents Paul and Wendy lived when he was born, where he reminisces about how, as a toddler, he insisted his bedroom be decked out in Superman gear. For the first time, Gareth, who grew up in East Bowling, Bradford, will also be shown talking about his reasons for the public denial about tabloid revelations over his relationship with glamour model Jordan, which he later was forced to admit had been true, and how his life has changed. The show also uncovers the steps the former pop star still takes to avoid being recognised in public, even when shopping at his local supermarket. Fans will also be given a sneak preview of some of the material for his long-awaited third album. What ever happened to Gareth Gates? will be screened on ITV1 at 7.30pm on December 23. LMAO at the Superman gear, but I've always thought Gareth had a resemblance to Dean Cain who played Superman in the "New Adventures". Edited December 16, 200618 yr by Nosey
December 16, 200618 yr I have just seen the advert for the program, only a few seconds, but it made me all hyper, lol :cheer: Gareth looked great, and they showed a bit of Suzanna too. :D
December 17, 200618 yr Author I have just seen the advert for the program, only a few seconds, but it made me all hyper, lol :cheer: Gareth looked great, and they showed a bit of Suzanna too. :D It seems its been hard for Gareth, not performing for the last three years. I bet he's itching to get on with it now. Looking very grown up now
December 17, 200618 yr I was SO surprised seeing the advert for Gareth's documentary on tv lastnight, He looked GORGEOUS in his vest and with his hair short. I CAN'T WAIT now for it to be shown and lets hope there is a LOT more of him looking like that. :P :D
