As well as being funny, do you think that means Gareth will be relaunching himself in a number of countries early on?

 

Shouldn't be surprised. As long as he gives us plenty to be going on with first though, which I'm sure he will do. And we're usually quite lucky with the fans abroad, sending back clips of interviews and appearances aren't we. :cheer:

We haven't had too much to talk about over the last couple of years so I think whilst we have always stayed loyal to Gareth we have been able to support our other favourite artists too.

Mikey I have to admit that I pop on here every single day just to check on what is going on in the charts and other forums but I have to confess that I have never looked in a private forum of a particular artist.

I feel a bit the same way. I hate having my photo taken but here I am (If I am lucky enough to get tickets), prepared to go on TV,possibly being relayed around the world.

I can't go to the sectret gig :( due to comitments but I am looking forward to seeing all the lucky people who managed to win tickets on TV :dance: and of course all the reports and hopefully loads of pictures.

As for Gareth, I didn't like his first album I found it very generic, but it's his debut what do you expect? -_-

There was I just getting used to the 23rd Dec for the date of Gareth's Documentary. Now I've just read a report from his McGuire course on the weekend, and its giving the date as 16th Dec :wacko:

 

I'm also in a very crabby mood today :angry: I didn't win tickets to the gig tomorrow :o In fact only a handful of people on his site have won. Goodness only knows who got the rest. There must be a whole bunch of anonymous fans out there still :wub:

 

I hope they all enjoy themselves though and bring back some nice new pictures :heart:

The confusion over the documentary date is a pest.

GARETH GATES will talk about his infamous romance with Jordan in a forthcoming ITV1 documentary.

 

The programme, to be screened on December 23, charts the rise and fall of the singer who had the world at his feet five years ago after his success on Pop Idol but who has since been dropped by his record company.

 

Gareth was just 17 and a Pop Idol runner-up when he had a fling with Jordan who was pregnant at the time with son Harvey, now four.

 

An ITV1 spokesman said: “The Press speculated that he lost his virginity to the glamour girl and he talks emotionally about why he denied his relationship with Jordan and describes how his life has changed dramatically in the last few years.

 

“It’s a candid, warts-and-all portrait in which nothing is off limits. It will explore his hopes and fears for the future as he reflects on his past and as he prepares to release his new material to the public.

 

“The fondness the public still has for Gareth is still evident and the programme explores what it is that attracts him back to the world that so quickly turned its back on him.â€

 

The documentary also recalls how Gareth was once the fastest-selling British artist ever with four chart toppers and two best-selling albums and how he has conquered his stammer.

Thanks Preston for the Sun article. personally I don't want hear about the Jordan stuff - it's so old news, and could justifiably be let drop, though I can understand why the press should still find it interesting. But the rest of the stuff should be great. He was being filmed at the weekend leading the McGuire course
