For the upcoming Artist Forum Song Contest this can be our base of operations instead of the mod lounge. I'm thinking we'll primarily use Beyonce songs but have 5-6 rounds of Destiny's Child if the rounds allow it.

 

The rounds are:

 

ROUND 1: FREE CHOICE

> Any song by your artist. <

 

ROUND 2: A song that started an era

> Self explanatory. The first single from an era. <

 

ROUND 3: A song without an official music video

> Basically any song, that doesn't have an official music video uploaded to their official Youtube/VEVO channels <

 

ROUND 4: FREE CHOICE

> Any song by your artist. <

 

ROUND 5: Worst single

> An official single that is either bottom 3 of their best sellers (singles released in March 2020 or after are ineligible - example: Little Mix can't use Break Up Song for this round) or it must've come bottom 3 in their singles rates <

 

ROUND 6: A non-top 75 charting hit

> Any song that didn't chart in the top 75, but charted on the UK charts. This doesn't HAVE to be a single. As long as it charted, but missed the T75 <

 

ROUND 7: A ballad album track

> SO EMOSH <

 

ROUND 8: SABOTAGE > This obviously all depends on which forums are left <

> You will be assigned a different forum to choose their entry. SABOTAGE THEM. GET THEM AT THEIR WEAKEST!!! *evil laugh* - I expect this will be a big talking point for your AF's. <

 

ROUND 9: FREE CHOICE

> Any song by your artist. Get back on your feet after the sabotage round! <

 

ROUND 10: A remix, bonus track or B-side

> Self explanatory. <

 

ROUND 11: A collaboration

> Self explanatory. <

 

ROUND 12: FREE CHOICE

> Any song by your artist. <

 

ROUND 13: A top 40 hit single

> A single that reached any position from #11 to #40 <

 

ROUND 14: A song that closed an era

> The final single of an era <

 

ROUND 15: Should've been a single

> The MISSED opportunity <

 

ROUND 16: FREE CHOICE

> Any song by your artist. Final round. GO OUT ON A HIGH. <

We could also try get some Kelly Rowland in there too, maybe Collaboration or Top 40 single

 

Green Light or Daddys Lessons could be a good shot here for 'worst'

> Basically any song, that doesn't have an official music video uploaded to their official Youtube/VEVO channels < End Of Time v Freedom v Don't Hurt Yourself? This one will be hard as most of her songs have music videos and the ones that don't would be very risky

 

ROUND 4: FREE CHOICE

> Any song by your artist. < If we chose DC in Round 1 then this should be Beyonce, or vice versa

 

ROUND 13: A top 40 hit single

> A single that reached any position from #11 to #40 < Love On Top v Hold Up v Formation

Last time we only managed 6 rounds so I don't think we'll get too far this time, Beyonce & DC aren't as popular as a fair few other AFs so it might be in our best interest to start off strong.

I think the forum's safe for this round! A lot of them have brought their big guns out early!!

I’m thinking If I Were A Boy for next round but the survivor is making me think otherwise? Surely people do actually like it though and the survivor is just inaccurate? It’s either that Formation or Crazy In Love really which I would like to save for later on if possible

Gerald do you have any ideas for future rounds?

I think formation is a good idea for round 2, it did well last time also.

 

End Of Time could work well too - we’re limited for options there so perhaps suggesting that is a good plan and see what anyone else comes up with

I think Dilemma would perform better than Commander wouldn't it? Considering we're going for Beyonce next round most likely with End Of Time I think Kelly is a great idea.

End Of Time for the music video round and Telephone, CIL or DIL would be great for the collaboration round but the rest of these + Survivor/Lose My Breath should be our Free Choice songs to pick from.

Yes Dilemma would be a better choice than Commander since its more widely known. We should go with that.

 

Halo or Sweet Dreams would be a good choice for Round 4.

 

Round 5; we could go with Green Light

 

For Round 6, we could go with Part II (On The Run) or Ring Off (we are not spoiled for choice in this round :lol:).

We're looking okay so far, I haven't seriously counted up the votes but I think we're roughly at the 30 mark right now which is higher than the bottom 3 from last round but we should take that with a massive pinch of salt :lol: Fingers crossed

 

End Of Time is generally well liked on Buzzjack (judging by previous rates anyway, and even the current rate) so should hopefully do well enough to get us into Round 4.

 

I have faith in End Of Time. It's such a great, feel good song. I can't wait for it to get its moment in Round 3.

We can't use End Of Time unfortunately cause of its official live video on Bey's VEVO :(. What do you think of these tracks;

I have re-listened to these tracks. The strongest choice for me which would have mass appeal is Scared Of Lonely.
