April 26, 20205 yr Watched it on a daily motion link. Was pretty good. Loved Seeing Trixie and Bob a bit more. All 3 contestants were good too and probably the right winner
April 27, 20205 yr Such a great PACKED episode *.* Jordan was by far the best overall although Kevina had the funniest Snatch Game for sure. It's a shame he couldn't slay the lipsync - this was the sole reason for the result. I loved how they didn't address any negative points in Snatch Game. The fact that Nico's Lucy wasn't THAT funny for example lmao

April 28, 20205 yr I would have preferred to have only straight or at least inexperienced guys on this episode as it didn't really make sense to have Nico, who said he's been doing drag for some time, with two straight boys who have never done drag before. That said I found Nico hard to watch but REALLY enjoyed both Jermaine and Jordan. Jordan was the deserving winner but I feel Jermaine was a bit distant during the lip sync probably due to the stuff with his mom but man this was so wholesome and amazing to watch and to see these straight guys embrace this art form so much was amazing. Especially as the show didn't gloss over anything like how at times they felt uncomfortable but then got over it and how their initial thoughts were that they'd be judged but then they said f**k that. Nico was just trying too hard and it came off a bit like showboating since the other two obviously didn't have the same experience and knowledge but I feel Nico would have shone better and felt more natural in a episode with other guys who have similar experience and connection to Drag Race. Honestly that mini challenge had me HOWLING. Looking forward to episode 2. Edited April 28, 20205 yr by diva thin muffin

May 2, 20205 yr Re: episode 2... it was kinda bad. Just barely any chemistry between the queens and contestants. All 3 of them had similar energy and the transformations weren’t that severe. It’s just pretty slightly bigger makeup. Meh.
May 3, 20205 yr I loved the mini challenge but everything else was a bit meh. I would have preferred to see them go into butch drag for a proper transformation haha. I didn't really see any transformation for them outside of the clothes I guess?
May 3, 20205 yr I agree with you, Pavel. I felt like the Queens couldn't really be arsed. I wish they'd pick the Queens that fully invest in all things drag. I hope we see that during Nina's episode. It was very much 'I am here to remind you that I am a drag race legend.
May 3, 20205 yr Finished watching both episodes on Netflix, and the first episode was truly brilliant. I loved how much Jordan and Jermaine just threw themselves into it and didn't have a care in the world, it was really heartwarming. :wub: So happy Jordan won too, he was so pure and lovely throughout and his openness and acceptance for the LGBTQ community was <3. Nico on the other hand was unbearable throughout. The second episode was less good, but I was living for Vanessa. Agree with the comments about the queens not really caring about it though - Bob in particular seemed like he just didn't want to be there at all.
May 3, 20205 yr Bob wasn't in episode 2. I obviously meant Trinity xxx but Bob was like that in episode 1 too ~
May 3, 20205 yr Asia was probably the most into it in Episode 2. I felt Alyssa was very much 'the camera is on me so I must react' and Trinity is just very sour.
