Also a shame that Arvo Party just barely missed the top 10 and Fixion got paid absolute dust :snif: and poor poor Jacob being the holder of the lowest position ever achieved in Club Bizarre on his first attempt :ph34r: debut entries at both the top and the bottom of the scoreboard gah!

Well at least Jacob's 22 points means he scored more than the bottom four of the previous contest!

 

The lowest scorer to date remains as Ferry Corsten (feat. Betsie Larkin) ~ Made Of Love – sent by Addy to vol.1 and scoring 7 points.

Totally forgot that I had a nice lil top 10 streak going on so that makes 1 point off top 10 this time a bit more heartbreaking :lol:

Jade, you did a fantastic job at hosting (in fact, everyone has over the past few years of this contest) and the amount of effort you put in to the threads, commentary etc has been smooth and flawless. Thank you for your patience with the veto process as I know it wasn’t an easy one.

Congrats on the debut win! All of the songs were kind similar but at least the few standouts did well :lol: It’s a difficult sub genre for this contest so it was very hard to predict the results. Thanks for hosting Jade! :)

Ah well, I clearly must have gotten lost in the crowd, very easy with this topic, but a failure for my song contest mission, but I'm no synthwave expert and really had to go with the first thing I found that sounded pretty nice, which 'Odaiba Chase' did.

 

Congratulations Haus, that was clearly the best, or at least most unique song here, I'm glad it managed to go on and win, excellent and enjoyable hosting to read through Jade!

It started well and went downhill didn't it :( Although I was firmly not last so have to be pleased with that given my track record, thanks Michael & Dexton for the 12s as well plus all the people that pointed me! And of course great hosting Jade ^_^

Aha so it was Dan who sent Hollywood Burns! I knew that would do well as it managed to stand out amongst the pack - cutting that lead back in the league table then.

 

Have to be honest I don't even remember how the winning song went, but looks as if those with vocals may have possessed an advantage as standing out in this edition. Many congrats Haus, another new debut winner 10 editions after the first!

 

A shame Oxygene received a deduction as it was my fave by a close margin. I really liked RUNWAY too but lucky I didn't end up giving that the 12 in the end :P

 

The points were all very close after the top 3 then with only 30 separating 4th from 18th! Makes sense with all the comments regarding voting.

 

And 14th is a little disappointing in truth but then it was my backup entry and it was only a couple of points off the top half.

 

Lastly thanks to Jade for being a great host!

Thanks everyone who supported Glitch Lazzer, it's actually not a random choice, I had to listen to a couple of synthwave-related playlists and 'Don't Give Up' came...30th-ish or so, then I gave a chance on 10+ more tracks and then realized - that's the kind of sound that makes me really listening to music, not letting it play on the background.

Congrats Bal tho, your entry just missed the cut after the second run on the tracks, really beautiful track with attractive vocals.

Poor Rosentwig, pretty little track (almost) no one pushed the button for :(
