November 21, 200618 yr I must admit they did a smashing cover of it! As a major Placebo fan I'm not sure if it's as good as the original, but they did it justice. It was one of a whole disc of covers for the Special Edition of Sleeping With Ghosts, where I think they were paying tribute to their favourite artists by covering one of their songs.

November 22, 200618 yr It's a good attempt, but I wouldn't say it was as good as The Smiths' original.... Sorry, but The Smiths for me are one of the ultimate British bands, Placebo - v. good, but Smiths - a true phenomenon...
