The marriage she claimed was "made in heaven" is now heading for the divorce court, but Britney Spears is not letting this problem affect her comeback.

She has called on the best UK pop writers and producers to ensure she is back on top form as soon as possible.

Remember Toxic written by Cathy Dennis? Well, three tracks have already been submitted by her pen and the team behind Girls Aloud are also writing tracks for Ms Spears, but with a difference... Britney herself will be co-writing all of the tracks on her comeback album.

She reveals: "I'm a mother now and I want to take control over all aspects of my life and my career. This is the start of a new me."

Sounds good but stop with the cigarettes!

Can't be a bad thing surely.
:cheer: :yahoo: This sounds miles better than the $h!tty RnB producers, lol!
OH HOW EXCITING! :cheer: And since when did she start smoking again?
So we're going for a Toxic/Girls Aloud sound? :o Wow! :o
OH WELL. Im still excited :cheer:

I hope she does something like Biology! :cheer: I think it will be a more mature version of Girlsaloud though!

I think it's really going to be like ITZ, just much edgier. I hope so anyway.

Her R&B producers said her stuff was "next level", "special", "groundbreaking", "different"... etc.

Now a few songs with Cathy Dennis and Xenomania, a few more with Max Martin (did you guys post that he was confirmed?), this album might be worth it. I hope she sounds better :(

I think the Max Martin thing is just a rumour. But I would like for him to work with her again! But I think she will prove everyone that thinks it will flop...WRONG.

They are both excellent, so she is in great hands :D

A mature, less bubblegum sort of version of Girls Aloud would suit Britney perfect. Xenomania have had huge imput on two of my favourite pop albums ever - Girls Aloud's What Will The Neighbours sat, and Rachel Stevens' Come And Get It, so I'm looking forward to see what Britney comes up with!

And everything Cathy Dennis does is amazing, so that's a given :P

I will actually buy this album if the first single is impressive - and it'll be my first ever Britney album. I really think (and hope) she'll come back with a great album with a mix of Rnb and Xenomania produced stuff like promised. ^_^
U should atleast bought the greatest hits Andre -_-

There is no way this album will flop. She has 6 millions guarenteed with the crappiest first single. When her image was horrible and she didn't promote she managed to sell 7M with a Greatest Hits album.

Is this reliable???

The direct quote in the end makes me think it's false. When did she say that?

here's the updated wikipedia page 4 the 5th album:

Britney Spears' album was originally scheduled for 2006. People magazine reported that it was scheduled for a November release.[1] However it's been delayed due to Spears' second pregnancy which she announced on May 9, 2006.

Spears has confirmed in the recent issue of People magazine that the album will be released next year and that it will be the best of her albums. MTV has confirmed that rapper T-Pain has been asked to produce a few songs for the new album[2] and that Sean Garrett has finished three tracks.[3] Jonathan Rotem, a well-known R&B producer, is now in the studio with Spears. His record label's official site mentioned that he is working on a few songs for Spears' new album, two of which are entitled Everybody and Who Can She Trust. Also Swizz Beatz, along with Sean Garrett, is currently working on the album. [4] Rolling Stone Magazine has recently confirmed that Britney is also working with Nate Hills on her upcoming new album. After giving birth to her second child, Spears is now back in the studio since October 27, 2006. In November 2006, Pharrell Williams announced to People Magazine that he is producing tracks in New York with Britney. Access Hollywood has reported that Britney is in the studio with Scott Storch. Kara Dioguardi has confirmed on her official website, that she's currently working with Britney. People has recently reported that Lukasz Gottwald is mixing tracks with Britney in The Palms recording studio in Las Vegas. She has recently reunited with ex-manager Larry Rudolph, who will be managing her during the recording/release period of the fifth album.

According to Us Weekly, Timbaland is producing tracks for Britney's new album and tabloids are claiming that Britney is currently collaborating with Justin Timberlake for a track on her new album, but hasn't been confirmed. Britney also stated that she is at least trying to co-write every song on the new album. Sky News has reported that three tracks have already been submitted by Cathy Dennis and Xenomania, the team behind Girls Aloud, are also writing tracks for Ms. Spears.
