Are you allowed to send anything from The Fame Monster as UK charts wise that was a re-release?

 

Or is it that it’s too early to send something like Dance In The Dark?

 

 

The Fame Monster has been a bit of a difficult one to come to a definitive conclusion about, because a lot of people consider it to be its own body of work (a separate EP), and some regard it as being her second album! Then there's those who would consider them as being new tracks for The Fame's re-release.

 

I hadn't even considered before this round launched that songs included on re-released albums, even those that are singles, would be eligible (i.e. songs like Take a Bow or Part of Me).

 

This round is a mishmash, to say the least...!

 

I still think Do What U Want with Christina would be a very solid choice and Gaga would be in no danger of leaving the competition because of it.

I mean I separate The Fame Monster on my listening devices yet I class it as like a deluxe version of The Fame but that’s only because of our charts not having it chart as a separate album. Like you essentially had to buy the Fame to get The Fame Monster here.

 

In other countries though it did chart on its own and Gaga herself I think classes it as her second album as she’s promoting Chromatica as her sixth album :lol: it’s an odd one though for sure.

In this country if we go off other forums, we should be allowed to send Dance in the Dark, Telephone, heck even Bad Romance. The other forums are doing so and if we base it on the release in the UK so too should we be able to here. It is very slightly different away from the UK so the mods may veto it because of that. I'll get final confirmation from the mods ~

 

If we are allowed to, Telephone would be our best option (Bad Romance and DITD will be useful later). If not, then Do What U Want seems to be getting most support so I can confirm that. Hope that's ok with you guys in here!

I am sure Gaga will be just fine and sail through but surprisingly this ended at the bottom of the top 10 for me. I like the song but just didn't stand out that much from the other superior submissions!!!

Telephone and Shallow are humongous shouts. One could be used here and the other could be saved for a later round, but which way round? :o Decisions decisions~

'Telephone' I think! Both would safely qualify but 'Shallow' probably stands a better chance later on.

Any of them. Although 'Shallow' would be better for a later round than 'Telephone' would be. It's pretty much a now or never sitch for 'Telephone' I think.

Yeah I much prefer Shallow but I think Telephone is a now-or-never choice really because I doubt it will do well when the contest gets tougher!
