I was really surprised by how much I liked the Taylor Swift song this round... obviously I've heard it before but never really thought much of it wheres this time I was bopping along.

I'm feeling quite optimistic about this round. Not to jinx it. But I think you guys made an excellent selection.

 

Also, so nice to be reminded of P!nk's first album :-) I was sad when she went emo. Haha

I couldn't finish a few of them too, that Rihanna one is just horrendous I can't stand it :puke2: I'm such a love / hate with Rihanna I either totally stan the song and think it's incredible or I can't stand it at all. :lol: I think it's partly because I don't like her voice very much so when I don't particularly like the song it's heightened into really disliking it, same for Katy Perry.

The next round is a non top 75 charting hit, so basically a hit that charted outside the top 75 but still charted. We are incredibly limited with choices for this one, there are no Spice Girls hits that we can use, we have to look at the solo hits.

And that's it! My thinking is disregard This Time and it's between Think about it or I know him so well. Think about it I think is easily the stronger song, however IKHSW is a cover of a popular song (although maybe not on this forum lol) and has both Melanie C and Emma on it.

 

I'm still inclined to go with Think about it, what are people's thoughts?

I'd say Think About It is the most 'well known' out of those three, isn't it? And probably the most liked. I Know Him So Well is a song you either love or hate and I can imagine a lot of casual listeners not really enjoying it (musical is a specific taste). Think About It would make the most sense.

(By the way there's also Set You Free by Melanie C, not that that's a particularly good choice :heehee: )

It's a great, catchy song and personally I think as of 2011 it was her strongest single since the Northern Star era. I'm sure some voters would be pleasantly surprised by it if they actually listen to it. But I can already tell there'll be a fair few people who'll post their list having not heard Think About It :(

I have a horrible feeling a lot of people will vote without listening especially if the voting count goes down again, I've been looking through the other threads and I recognise a fair few songs others are contemplating sending, as will many others. This is going to be a tough round for us.

'Think About It' is the only option likely to excite anyone.

 

I'd expect IKHSW to perform similarly to Ariana's last selection. Except that we have the added challenge of being a less relevant artist to begin with. We don't want to have to be begging for votes. Haha

Hopefully the people who don't know the song, will give it a spin and give it a try. I am fairly sure a lot of pop fans on here would love it!
