Jumpin Jumpin was my choice for this round from the very beginning! :lol: End Of Time would have also been a decent option too, since we had originally planned for that to be our “Song Without A Music Video” Round entry it didn’t factor into the planning for any future round because I thought it would have already been taken! I do feel like Jumpin Jumpin would’ve been a better choice though, maybe... it was pretty much the last time we would feel confident sending Destiny’s Child though aside from Lose My Breath as a free choice later on

Round 9: Free Choice!

 

We obviously would have had a lot of choices here but this was to be our time for Halo to shine! I also had Lose My Breath, Sorry, and If I Were A Boy down as potentials but this far into the contest I thought Halo would be a much safer choice whilst saving Sweet Dreams for a later round. I mean this was before the Destiny's Child Survivor ended so Lose My Breath could have been just as safe as Halo in retrospect.

Yep! This was potentially our most “safe” round for a long while :lol: Halo is just one of those songs that you’d be hard pressed to find someone who doesn’t like it at all.

My first thought for this round ORIGINALLY was Work (Freemasons Remix) however afternoon reading it again I realised it wouldn’t be eligible (which is how it became available to us very early on) :lol: I also had in mind the Nicki Minaj Remix of Flawless however I believe that was a single, and even though it flopped I don’t think it’d be allowed. Basically everything bonus track wise that came to mind probably wouldn’t be eligible. Such as Listen which whilst it was the single from the soundtrack it was “only” a hidden track on B’Day and on the deluxe edition.

 

I suppose it could’ve been argued that Drunk In Love feat. Jay Z and Kanye could’ve been sent as it was not the version pushed as a single and I would definitely not consider it “rent a rapper” :lol: But we sent that in an earlier round anyway. Again I’m not 100% sure on what would have been eligible for this round: but in my opinion the best option was either Green Light (Freemasons Remix) our Beautiful Liar (Freemasons Remix). Whether Beautiful Liar would’ve been saved for a future round or not at this point idk but it feels right for now!

This round is a Collaboration Round!

 

My initial thoughts for this round when it was revealed to the AF Mods was to send Crazy In Love as a guaranteed way through, however other options would have also been: Deja Vu, Feeling Myself, Flawless, Beautiful Liar, and (has we not already used it) Drunk In Love. Entering Crazy In Love could have been one of those moments we knock out a big hitter given a couple of the remaining rounds have some less-than-superb collaborations to pick from

Round 12: Free Choice

 

Lose My Breath or If I Were A Boy would have been our go-to for this round I think! Although given IIWAB's result in the current survivor it may have been a risky choice! Whereas Lose My Breath is apparently a Buzzjack fave

 

 

Missed the last round oops, I have no clue what we would have sent though!

 

For this round me & Gerald had our eyes on Love On Top or Formation! Among a few others, however I believe these would have been our best shot!

 

Love on Top would have been great.

In terms of potential entries, I feel this would have gone to Sweet Dreams. Crazy In Love would likely have fared better (I think anyway) but we used that in an earlier round.
