1st :gold2: Gwen Stefani - What You Waiting For? (30/40 Votes To Win) [75.00%]

We have the winner for the 66th Survivor Edition and it's No Doubt frontwoman Gwen Stefani taking the massive voting lead, 30 out of 40 Votes.. 20 votes more than It's finalist competition. 'What You Waiting For?' was released as the lead single from Gwen's debut album Love. Angel. Music. Baby and peaked at 4 here in 2004 whilst faring worse in the US peaking at a very low 47. A fairly obvious winner for most and that became ever the more apparent as this survivor went along!

2nd Dannii Minogue - I Begin To Wonder (10/40 Votes) [25.00%]

Kylie had appeared in a lot of survivors as she of course is the most successful of the two Australian siblings but Dannii did manage several hits in the noughties herself and her highest and biggest was 'I Begin To Wonder' which was released in 2003 and peaked at 2 behind 'Beautiful' by Christina Aguilera. By the end of the decade Dannii was a regular judge on the X Factor. In the end it wasn't anywhere near a battle as Dannii picked up 10 votes but did well for making the final nonetheless and worthy runner up!

New round/new survivor coming up later this evening x

1st Shakira - She Wolf (18/35 Votes) [51.43%]

Shakira takes the win in a tight battle. Released in August 2009, 'She Wolf' peaked at 4 becoming her 5th top 10 hit here. In the video Shakira in a dark red cave doing some unique dance moves and crawling around in a bodysuit.

2nd Blink 182 - All The Small Things (17/35 Votes) [48.57%]

and...just like it's official peak Blink 182 finish in 2nd place here with the 2nd single from third album Enema of the State. The guys are imitating Boy groups such as NSYNC, 98 Degree and Backstreet Boys in the accompanying video to the track.

3rd Destiny's Child - Bootylicious (15/40 Votes [37.50%]

4th Newton Faulkner - Dream Catch Me (20/34 Votes) [58.82%]

5th Deep Dish - Flashdance (14/34 Votes) [41.18%]

6th Sunblock - I'll Be Ready (14/30 Votes) [46.67%]

7th Lupe Fiasco Ft Matthew Santos - Superstar (12/38) Votes (31.58%]

8th Cheeky Girls - Cheeky Song (Touch My Bum) (13/34 Votes) [38.24%]

9th Brian McFadden Ft Delta Goodrem - Almost Here (13/41 Votes) [31.71%]

10th Blazin Squad - Crossroads (17/41) [41.46%]

Don’t mind the song but I can’t believe Shakira won over Blink182 and Destiny’s Child!

Pleased for Shakira to get another win.

Although I can’t think of her in quite the same light since John said she has the same vocal style as Cilla Black. :P

1st Kaiser Chiefs - I Predict A Riot (18/33 Votes) [54.55%]

Originally charting a year before where it peaked at #22, 'I Predict A Riot' by the Kaiser Chiefs got re pushed in September 2005 and gave the band their 3rd top 10 hit. It is one of their most well known tracks and only a year or so followed where they found themselves at the top of the chart!

2nd Outkast - Hey Ya! (15/33 Votes) [45.45%]

and it seemed to get the majority voting it to win in the beginning but alas it didn't happen as Outkast finish in runner up with the 2003 top 3 hit 'Hey Ya!' which did sell well enough to make it into the next years EOY top 100 where it came higher in the No.25 survivor edition compared to this one but it was released towards the end of 2003 tbf!

3rd Missy Elliot - Get Ur Freak On (21/31 Votes) [67.74%]

4th The Zutons - Valerie (14/31 Votes) [45.16%]

5th The 411 Ft Ghostface Killah - On My Knees (17/34 Votes) [50.00%]

6th Camille Jones vs. Fedde Le Grande - The Creeps (13/33 Votes) [39.39%]

7th The Saturdays - Just Can't Get Enough (10/35 Votes) [28.57%]

8th Jennifer Lopez Ft Nas - I'm Gonna Be Alright (9/31 Votes) [29.03%]

9th Ironik - Stay With Me (19/31 Votes) [61.29%]

10th Lock 'N' Load - Blow Ya Mind (16/40 Votes) [40.00%]

Based off the final result yeah? Cause Kaisers were looking like the obvious winner based off most other rounds where they hardly picked up any votes :P

I thought it could go either way anyhow but maybe the voters commenting at the start made it seem Outkast had it won haha!

1st The Veronicas - Untouched (22/35 Votes) [64.71%]

Australian twin sisters Lisa and Jessica Origliasso better known under the duo name of The Veronicas win this survivor with the big top 10 hit 'Untouched', unquestionably a epic intro and electronic pop music instrumentation throughout which overall creates a seductive pop anthem in the verses and chorus. It was the first single for the girls released in the UK and US but they had been releasing music for several years before the success of 'Untouched' in 2009 and '4Eva' which followed it up was actually the first single in their home native Australia in 2005 and that we all knew is in identical vein to a song currently in the 70's survivor. It was a big contender for the win looking at the list as the song had loads of hype and positivity thrown at it on here when it charted so it's win is certainly not undeserved!

2nd KT Tunstall - Suddenly I See (12/35 Votes) [35.29%]

'Suddenly I See' finishes up at 2nd after being targeted from mid way point and being in near danger of going out on many a round so you'd consider that a sleeper result for Scottish Singer KT Tunstall. It is one of those songs nearly everyone will have been familiar with as it was rinsed on radio stations so much over the years and you still hear it now sometimes.. yet despite all that it did end up missing the Top 10 having to settle for a #12 peak. It is however one of the biggest selling songs not to make top 10 though!

3rd DB Boulevard - Point Of View (12/32 Votes) [37.50%]

4th Girls Aloud - Can't Speak French (16/33 Votes) [48.48%]

5th Booty Luv - Boogie 2nite (11/35 Votes) [31.43%]

6th The Feeling - Never Be Lonely (12/34 Votes [35.29%]

7th Benny Benassi presents The Biz - Satisfaction (12/32 Votes) [37.50%]

8th Britney Spears - My Prerogative (13/30 Votes) [43.33%]

9th Wheatus - A Little Respect (13/34 Votes) [38.24%]

10th Lonestar - Amazed (11/34 Votes) [32.35%]

1st P!nk - U & Ur Hand (21/34 Votes) [61.76%]

In a predictable final in some way it is P!nk who takes the reigns with 'U & Ur Hand' which was the 3rd off P!nks 4th studio album I'm Not Dead from 2006, it followed the wonderful 'Who Knew' and lead single 'Stupid Girls' and gave Alecia Moore a 3rd straight top 10 for this era although before it nabbed a #10 peak it did look like it was uncertain to make it top 10 the week before. 'U & Ur Hand' was produced in the same way as The Veronicas '4Eva' which was in fact released first in the summer of 2005 and in which makes U&UH look like a castoff of sorts!

2nd Kelly Clarkson - Behind These Hazel Eyes (13/34 Votes) [38.24%]

Doesn't need any introduction as it's Kelly's biggest album in her career. Breakaway produced an stellar run of singles and really put Kelly on the map after not getting anywhere near as much success with her first era despite a top 10 debut. 'Behind These Hazel Eyes' was the 2nd single from the album in September 05 and peaked at 9. It's a punchy pop song with a rocky base throughout and the video includes a wedding and Kelly throwing flowers down with mud on not the mention the dress which makes for a explosive package overall.

3rd Sonique - Sky (16/31 Votes) [51.61%]

4th Jurgen Vries Ft CMC - The Opera Song (Brave New World) (17/34 Votes) [50.00%]

5th PPK - ResuRection or Resurrection (whichever way you prefer to spell lol)(11/35 Votes) [31.43%]

6th S Club 7 - You (14/37 Votes) [37.84%]

7th The Streets - Fit But You Know It (12/35 Votes) [35.29%]

8th Jason Derulo - Watcha Say (12/36 Votes) [33.33%]

9th Gym Class Heroes Ft The Dream - Cookie Jar (14/33 Votes) [42.42%]

10th Soulja Boy - Crank That (12/41 Votes) [29.27%]
