I've posted them here several times :P

"Mad World" is there as it was released on the Donnie Darko Soundtrack which was released to iTunes this past week.

So I'm guessing we shall see Akon zoom in to number one tomorrow and possibly hold #1 and #2 at the same time then?

Amazing flop for the untalented Ciara.

LMAO.

Anyways, I hate the Akon song, and it is really called I wanna **** you, nasty. Anyways fergie should be number one.

Beyonce should...

Amazing flop for the untalented Ciara.

Hardly a flop bearing in mind she's only just released it, she jumped into the top 40 today -_-

It´s a flop in terms of sales, just like her previous single "Get Up". It will have a good position thanks to airplay, because radios in USA are lazy and will play anything from this r´n´b "stars" but the way her song is selling considering the great airplay it´s having already shows the lack of public interest on it. It will bomb, just like the parent album.

The parent album hasn't even been RELEASED yet FFS, and sales don't matter in terms of USA charts anyway - a number one can sell hardly anything over there and get to number one on the basis of airplay only, you wouldn't exactly call it a flop <_<

And seeing as airplay is only just developing, it's a little too early to say it's flopped, most people haven't heard it yet.

Wrong,

Sales mean MUCH more than airplay these days, admitedly airplay plays a part but sales are the more significant factor.

A recent example of the imbalance between the 2 is Chingy's recent single "Pullin' Me Back" which was a strong #01 on US airplay yet it had very little in the way of sales and so peaked at #09 on its strongest sales week.

The Likes of Weird Al Yankovic benefit from sales, "White And Nerdy" had MINIMAL airplay yet downloads helped secure it it's top 10 placing.

Ah, sorry, I was referring to single sales, I forgot about downloads

Coming off the back of a VERY strong first album with a big #01 and 2 huge #02's she should be doing better with the lead single, Ciara simply chose the wrong sort of song to launch the album with. The likelyhood is that pop radio won't pick up this sort of "slow jam" as it isn't what pop radio wants at the moment, without pop radio (which coincidently are the major download buying market), the song will cntinue to struggle.

Single sales have been NOTHING in the US for 7/8 years now

Airplay used to dominate but downloads have evened the field out...

True, but all three of the hits had small jumps from the beginning, so including the big debut this is quite a good start for Promise - I predict another #2 at the very least
