September 4, 20204 yr Author It keeps its #4 position! Great position considering the top five is full of new releases. Birthday #81, Douha #87.
September 4, 20204 yr Wasn't expecting too much from the album tracks from the general reception I've seen to the album but I have been pleasantly surprised - I think this album overall is quite a bit better than 'Caracal' and actually might be rivalling 'Settle' for me! 'Who Knew?' is my favourite of the songs we hadn't already heard  'Lavender' and 'Watch Your Step' are both certified bangers as well and I did rather like 'Ce N'Est Pas' and 'Reverie' too (though the latter felt like it was over before it really got going, while the former could probably have done with being a bit shorter - make both of them 4 minutes and it'd probably improve the album even more ) 'Birthday' is the weakest on the album for me (excluding the interludes and 'Talk') but it's still ok, I just don't really find Disclosure's crossover R&B-ish songs as interesting as their other work I guess. Naturally it has ended up being the highest charting song from the main album lol ~ (but yay for 'Douha (Mali Mali)' joining it this week for a second week in the top 100 - I really need more songs from Disclosure & Fatoumata, both of their collabs are among Disclosure's all-time best for me <3) (edit: I typed this before getting to the remixes of 'Birthday' - both of those are definitely improvements on the original (particularly the MJ Cole remix) but it's still not a standout on this tracklist, just maybe lifted ahead of 'Reverie' and a couple of the songs from the 'Ecstasy' EP x)
September 4, 20204 yr I’ve found myself adding this to my Apple Music download list for plays offline which i didn’t expect as the singles have wowed me but the album as a whole is really interesting on first listen, really like the different genres in the album body and it’s just well differebt.
September 5, 20204 yr It keeps its #4 position! Great position considering the top five is full of new releases. Birthday #81, Douha #87. Watch Your Step also entered the dance chart at #35
September 22, 20204 yr Honestly if I didn't know which was which I'd have assumed the original version was the Wookie remix, I get stronger 'garage vibes' from the original  kind of disappointing remix there imo. 'Reverie' and 'Lavender' both have videos now as well - surprised these have got them before 'Watch Your Step'. They've been dropping a video each week for the last few weeks though so maybe that one will be coming in the next couple of days? Ep0wOkaKgzc gpS8QoaiaI0
September 23, 20204 yr Why didn't they try and push 'Watch Your Step' at any point? It's so good! It's 'Confess To Me' all over again.
October 26, 20204 yr Watch Your Step is Nick Grimshaw's Tune of the Week on Radio 1 and now the next single, the right choice Theo Kottis Remix of Mali Mali is now available too N2-pdSwWji4
November 17, 20204 yr Watch Your Step has been added to 6 Music's playlist this week, can only expect R1 to do the same relatively soon
November 18, 20204 yr Hope radio 1 will add it, they've supported most of the other songs. Would be nice to see Kelis included again too.
November 20, 20204 yr Hope radio 1 will add it, they've supported most of the other songs. Would be nice to see Kelis included again too. It has been added today!
December 10, 20204 yr It has been added today! Glad it’s getting support, going to add to my playlist in the new year
February 15, 20214 yr Not new material, just one of these playlists of old songs released as 'EPs' that have been spamming the Spotify profiles of a bunch of artists recently.
February 15, 20214 yr Such a shame 'Watch Your Step' did nothing at all despite heavy Radio 1 support and seeming quite popular.
