Posted May 22, 20205 yr Ik this trend is old af but I thought this would be interesting :kink: -Good in Bed is fantastic -Want To is one of her best songs -Room For 2 and Thinking Bout You are highlights on her first album
May 22, 20205 yr 'Blow Your Mind (Mwah)' and 'IDGAF' are her worst two singles YES Also agree I’m not a fan of Scared To Be Lonely, also agree that Room For 2 and Thinking Bout You are highlights
May 22, 20205 yr New Rules and IDGAF are far from her best singles, and the title track from Future Nostalgia is incredible and so underrated
May 22, 20205 yr Her performances are really not worth all the praise. Just because she started out at tragic and is now at subpar/mediocre, does not mean she should be applauded for "her incredible" progress. She remains a singer, not a performer Come @ me Lippers x

Just because she started out at tragic and is now at subpar/mediocre, does not mean she should be applauded for "her incredible" progress. She remains a singer, not a performer Come @ me Lippers x At least we know Dua Lipa can actually sing - so why does she allow herself to be Auto-Tuned so much? Auto-Tune being one of my pet hates, especially when used by people who definitely don't "need" it. Actually there's a lot that infuriates me about this woman politically speaking - but that's for another forum. OK, all that said, here's what I consider to be a lighthearted half-joking question, but it got me censored/banned on another site. Why doesn't she change her name? We know that, contrary to what is often claimed, she's only Albanian by descent - from birth she's always been technically British - so why does she cling onto a name which, for a British English speaker, is embarrassing, even humiliating? Dua Lipa = do a leaper. Which would mean (a) consume a cheap amphetamine-substitute tablet (b) execute a dangerous snowboarding manoeuvre (c ) discharge loose and messy excrement (Both verbs and nouns apply - certainly when I was growing up "dua" aka "doer" meant "anus") Edited January 11, 20223 yr by whatsherface

Dua means love in Albanian. For me personally, I love how she is proud of her family and heritage and her name is amazing periodt.

January 11, 20223 yr That's almost on the same level as the interviewer who asked her a few years ago how she came up with her name
