Now for a genuine dance vocalist whose works have inspired many other female singers to follow in her footsteps. British singer Kelly Llorenna had some wonderful dance singles in the 90’s and early 2000’s, many of which were in fact uncredited to her as a singer, especially during her various stints with N-Trance. She is probably best known for singing on the single Set You Free but her works extend much further than that as this list shows;

Set You Free (with N-Trance)

Mind Of The Machine (with N-Trance)

Do Ya Think I’m Sexy (with N-Trance)

Tears In The Rain (with N-Trance)

Heart Of Gold (with Force & Styles)

Shake Ya Body (with N-Trance)

Te Quiero (with N-Trance)

Fantasy (with Lockout)

True Love Never Dies (with Flip & Fill)

Tell It To My Heart (with Flip & Fill)

Forever (with N-Trance)

Destiny (with N-Trance)

Sweetest Day Of May (with Soda Club)

I’m In Heaven (with N-Trance)

Let The Music Play (with Riffs & Rays)

Lift Me Up (with DJ Shah)

Keep Love Together (with Love To Infinity)

Which of her current dance features is your favourite?

Which dance producers would you like to see her feature with in the future?

Her best song is obviously the brilliant Set You Free which has been released/reissued/remixed so many times before. It is by far her signature song, and the rest follow. I tried to include as many of her dance features as could come by on YouTube or other streaming platforms. I included Tell It To My Heart as another standout song produced by Flip & Fill. Also I prefer the Flip & Fill remix of Heart Of Gold credited only to Kelly in 2002, but only the Force & Styles original single features here. This is how I rated the songs in this poll;

1. Set You Free (with N-Trance)
2. True Love Never Dies (with Flip & Fill)
3. Tell It To My Heart (with Flip & Fill)
4. Forever (with N-Trance)
5. Fantasy (with Lockout)
6. Heart Of Gold (with Force & Styles)
7. Keep Love Together (with Love To Infinity)
8. Sweetest Day Of May (with Soda Club)
9. Mind Of The Machine (with N-Trance)
10. Destiny (with N-Trance)
11. Te Quiero (with N-Trance)
12. Lift Me Up (with DJ Shah)
13. Do Ya Think I’m Sexy (with N-Trance)
14. Shake Ya Body (with N-Trance)
15. Tears In The Rain (with N-Trance)
16. I’m In Heaven (with N-Trance)
17. Let The Music Play (with Riffs & Rays)

One the rare occasion I don’t think we will see this artist make any more music now as it’s well over a decade since she made any music. So I won’t be predicting any future collaborations for her, but I wouldn’t count out a remix of one of her N-Trance songs again someday.

but I thought that was a solo single

I thought that was a solo single

Correct, there was not a production credit for Flip & Fill, but they were responsible for its chart success, and I thought it deserved to be mentioned amongst her works.

just checked my CD single and it has the Flip & Fill remix as the main version
Another one for ‘True Love Never Dies’ with a big up for ‘Forever’ and ‘Set You Free’.

what is really bizarre is that the OCC credits her on the 1st Set You Free release from 1994 that charted at #39

but she's not credited on the re-release that was a hit in 95 or the remix that charted in 01

The OCC is also not crediting her in Forever despite the CD single saying N Trance featuring Kelly Llorenna

Picked 'Tell It To My Heart' as its the one I remember it from the time unlike her other tracks. Its also better than the 80s original in my opinion. 'True Love Never Dies' and 'Forever' are great too as are both charting versions of N-Trance Set You Free (I actually prefer the 2001 remix as it is more euphoric I think).
