Posted November 23, 200618 yr I say yes, but not for a few more years and might be a collaboration with another artist, to lift here image.
November 23, 200618 yr I think no... she isn´t a singles act. Her job is to sell albums. Her last album wasn´t such a huge seller, but still it sold more then many other more visible pop hitmakers. She needs to invest in other type of promos, like movie soundtracks, etc. A collaboration would be good to. I dream of a duet with Dido but I think it´s never gonna happen.
November 23, 200618 yr Not a single, no. I could see another of her albums going to #1 though, although like you say, a collaboration would do wonders for her. I think a duet with U2 would be pretty good, seeing as they're Ireland's biggest selling. :D
November 23, 200618 yr I said no, but let me explain why. Most of her singles don't get the exposure they deserve and half of the most recent material is promotional..and I don't hear much of anything concerning radio/air play..I would love to see her at number one, though. I'm not for the duet with U2..I can't imagine Enya with her style of music collaborating with U2..they are so, so different..
November 23, 200618 yr I think it's possible. She had such a huge hit with Only Time and Wild Child, and really the reason that she had such a huge hit with Only Time was because it got played so much after 9/11. I think that if people could actually hear her songs on radio, etc., she could have more hits. So I guess what I mean is, she could, but will she, if her stuff is barely promoted? I'm hoping that the WMAs, appearances on Loose Women, GMTV, Rockefeller Center, etc. is an indication that there is going to be more promotion.
November 24, 200618 yr Let´s not forget she is credited for 2 number 1 singles in UK, one of these being the "collaboration" (=sample) with Mario Winans, who since then disappeared from the map. Many legendary artists have never had a # 1 single in UK.
January 1, 200718 yr I would tend to agree with the majority here and say she prpbably won't have another #1, but it certainly would be nice if she did. And as for a collaboration/duet,I most certainly fancy her dueting with her sister Moya, and would very much enjoy an updated version of either "Two Sisters" or "An Tull", but that's just my wishful thinking  :P
January 1, 200718 yr i would love to her to work with somone like kylie using enya material to a backing sound i think itwoyuld be great
January 2, 200718 yr I was thinking about her and Moya doing a duet, that could be interesting. ;) Kylie, eh? I'm not surprised you thought of her first. ;)
January 2, 200718 yr i would love it ,did u eve rhear the kylie song in denial with the pet shop boys?if u did i think kylie doing that style of song again with enya music would be great
January 17, 200718 yr I was thinking about this again today. On Enya's 20th anniversairy since Orinoco Flow reached the top, I think she should re-release it along with a new track and get loads of airplay. That would be a good opportunity for her. ^_^ Especially now in the UK all downloads are counted towards the official charts.
January 17, 200718 yr YES THAT SOUNDS LIKE a good idea and it could do very well, but with the new chart its hartd to know it could be huge though
January 17, 200718 yr Yeah the download rule can have different affects on the chart - good or bad. ^_^
January 18, 200718 yr Hey, great idea! IMO, Orinoco Flow could do quite well if it got lots of publicity and was released with a new b-side. Everybody loves Orinoco Flow, even people who don't even know who sang it. I'd buy it just for the b-side. B)
January 18, 200718 yr YES A BRAND NEW B SIDE SOUNDS A VERY GOOD IDEA this combined with downloads could do very well
