Nelly has Been nominated three times at the 2006 Billboard Music Awards on the 4th December in Vegas U.S.A,Nelly is nominated in the following:

-Hot 100 single of the year

-Digital Song of the year

-Pop single of the year

I think she has a great chance of winning something, as Promiscuous was HUGE, over there!

Good Luck

I really hope she wins, she's done some fantastic mainstream work this time around and that needs rewarding, I hope she wins Hot100 track of the year.

The thing with the Billboard awards is that you can tell who has won the award ages before the show...

SexyBack will most likely win the Hot100 award because it had the longest stay at #1 by 2 weeks, and is still hanging around.

Digital Sales will be Daniel Powter or Nelly, I cant remember which had sold more at my last check (either way its the biggest selling download of the Billboard Year)

Pop will again go to SexyBack I think... I could be wrong, but its Justin I think (Chris Brown could also win this - I think he's nominated in this catagory, because Run It was #1 for a good few weeks and it fits into the BB year).

Will shakira win an award..she did beat some record

I really, really hope so... I mean, HDL should win digital cuz it got 267K in a week, most everybody has gotten and it got HUGE airplay, more than any other song, so it should win pop. But I don't even know what she's nominated in...

Can someone post the link or the full list of nominations, please?

When i find them, i'll post them here ^_^

Hope she can win at least one
Ive just seen the full nominations... and I think Shes in with a chance at all of them. Justin doesnt make the top 3 on the lists, because of timing and his singles havent been on the charts long enough, so she has the Hot 100 in teh bag... :D

Great News! Justin was her only competition really

Thanks Dan :funky:

Its alright, I was very suprised when I saw the list with no Justin on it, but his singles havent really had much time on the charts (despite being #1!) so its understandable. I also think timing and closing for awards played a factor.
