What do you believe to be the Top 2?

I'd like to see if your prediction is correct.

I’d say Sharon and Janine!

I’d also expect Pat, Peggy, Ronnie, Roxy and Dot as well to be quite high.

Yolande Trueman (also Duke) was played by Angela Wynter from 16 September 2003 to 3 October 2008. The character made further guest appearances on 15th February 2015, 20th March 2017 and again on 26 June 2017.

Yolande was introduced in 2003 as a love interest for Patrick Trueman and was apparently based on Wynter's deceased sister Merlene. Yolande has been described as assertive with a sassy attitude. Wynter has described the original character outline given to Yolande as "bubbly and positive". Discussing Yolande and Patrick's relationship, Wynter has said that Yolande tamed Patrick "with her charm and her toughness. Yolande's vulnerable, but she's principled. He has the same principles. To please her, he'll try not to stray too far away from those principles".

I almost gave aunt Sal a few points as i really liked her but she needed to be in the show more, i was hoping dr may wright might have got some other votes as i thought she was really really good. In his early years i didnt mind Alfie but in his last 2 stints he just annoyed me, chantelle atkins, same as Gray, not in the show long enough for me to vote for and i think the climax of their storyline would determine future votes from me.

My second one Dean out. Didn't think he would last long like tbh.

Glad Alfie is out early

Stan was another character i really liked, i really think he added to the Carters, i didnt vote for him but if i had an extra 5 votes he would have made it.

Stan higher than Mick! *.*

Alfie out already. I really liked him in his early days (hence my vote) but he got very dodgy later on and made some very selfish decisions.

84. Poppy Meadow

Poppy Meadow, played by Rachel Bright, was introduced by executive producer Bryan Kirkwood on 11 January 2011 as the best friend of established character Jodie Gold in scenes filling in for those cut from a controversial baby-swap storyline. Poppy returned to the series in June 2011 as a supporting character and comedy element, in a move that was generally welcomed by the tabloid press; her storylines focused on her friendship with Jodie and their intertwined love lives. Both Jodie and Poppy left the series on 14 November 2011, but the possibility was left open for Poppy to return in the future. In June 2012 Bright reprised her role as Poppy, moving into Walford and resuming her employment at the local beauty salon, this time as a regular character. Poppy's storylines became more prominent, including a romantic relationship with Fatboy. The character was axed in September 2013 by new executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins, and Poppy departed on 30 January 2014.

83. Bradley Branning

Hide&Seek 6 points

Bradley Branning, played by Charlie Clements, made his first appearance on screen on 24 January 2006. Bradley was conceived when his parents, Max and Rachel, were just 18 years old. The three of them lived happily as a family for nearly six years. However, Max could not cope with being a young husband and father and eventually began an affair with an 18-year-old girl, Tanya Cross. When Tanya became pregnant, Max left his wife and son to marry her. Bradley never fully recovered from his father's abandonment.

Bradley moves to Walford from Tring to live with his grandfather Jim and his step-grandmother Dot when he gets a job as a banker in the City. Later that year, Max moves to Albert Square, and at first Bradley wants nothing to do with him, but they eventually bond.

In 2006, scriptwriters decided to pair Bradley with the character Stacey Slater. Mismatched, one reporter commented, "geeky...goody-twoshoes Bradley doesn't seem like the type of lad Stacey would normally go for", however she added that the couple "may be chalk and cheese, but with Stacey's history of emotional turmoil, Bradley is probably just the stabilising influence she needs." The couple were hailed as the nearest thing Walford had to Romeo and Juliet. Explaining the characters' attraction, scriptwriter Sarah Phelps has said, "Bradley's gentleness makes Stacey a little bit gentler, and Stacey's toughness makes Bradley a little bit tougher." Discussing the union between her character and Bradley,Lacey Turner has said, "I love working with Charlie – he's such a laugh. They're such different characters. It's nice, because it's not what anyone expected for her."

In 2010, Bradley discovered that Archie Mitchell had raped Stacey and got her pregnant so confronted Archie by punching him twice in the face. At the end of the live episode on 19 February 2010, Bradley died after falling from the roof of the Queen Victoria pub while being pursued by a policeman.

82. Christian Clarke

Christian Clarke, portrayed by John Partridge, first appeared on 17 January 2008 as the brother of established character Jane Beale.

In June 2009, Christian begins an affair with Muslim character Syed Masood. The storyline was said to be controversial, as homosexuality is strictly forbidden according to mainstream interpretations of Islam. However, the show's executive producer Diederick Santer explained that the storyline will not be a moral tale, but one of human interest, adding: "Syed struggles with his sexuality when he finds himself drawn to Christian as he believes this goes against his faith. This is not a story about Syed and Christian's physical relationship — we don't see anything beyond one kiss." Santer also said that EastEnders always tries to "reflect modern life in multicultural Britain and tell social issue stories relevant to its diverse audience." Partridge commented on the storyline, saying: "I'm thrilled this storyline is being done. People fall in love in impossible circumstances all the time. Why are Christian and Syed any different?" They left together in 2012.

Partridge returned to the show for two episodes in May 2014 which saw Christian attend the funeral of Lucy Beale. In January 2015, it was confirmed that Partridge would be returning for the show's 30th anniversary celebrations in 2015. He appeared in four episodes between 17 and 20 February 2015, including a fully live episode, which saw Christian attend Jane's wedding to Ian Beale. He made a further appearance in 2016.

81. Lofty Holloway

King Rollo 6 points

Kn8YhAfm.jpg

Played by Tom Watt, Lofty Holloway is one of the original 23 characters invented by the creators of EastEnders, Tony Holland and Julia Smith. Both felt that to help complete the community there was a need for a character in his early twenties. He had to be someone a bit different. Not brash and confident like a lot of the older men, and not boisterous like the younger ones. A loner, maybe someone forced to be a loner. A person who "stuck out like a sore thumb, someone that was happiest in a group but still couldn't find one that he fitted in with".

After jilting Lofty at the church at their first wedding, Michelle Fowler changes her mind and marries him months later. Money is sparse for the couple and Michelle is never truly happy, she quickly tires of him. When Lofty begins pressuring Michelle to have a baby with him and to allow him to adopt Vicki, she is unwilling. She discovers that she is pregnant with Lofty's child and has an abortion. Lofty is devastated by Michelle's betrayal and their marriage breaks down. He grows depressed about losing the child he wanted so badly and amidst continued hostility with Michelle, he leaves Walford in April 1988 with only Den Watts witnessing his departure.

Lofty returns for the funeral of Doctor Legg in 2019. Executive consultant John Yorke invited Tom Watt to reprise the role and described Lofty as a "huge iconic character, and a central part of the show's DNA". Watt was pleased to be invited back to the soap and thought that it was "fitting" that Lofty returns for Doctor Legg's funeral. He commented, "I have nothing but good memories from my time on EastEnders so it will be lovely to set foot back in Albert Square all these years later."

The last 4 characters were all "nice" during the tenor but lack in classic character.
