LOVE this!

Reminds me of 'Anthonio' (more specifically the Berlin Breakdown version) just a lot more subtle. A beauty of a song.

title track:

Dark Hearts is another special moment, can't wait for the record.
Been pleasantly surprised at how much I have enjoyed her comeback singles, 'American Cars' and 'The Bomb' are both v good!

American Cars didn’t really click with me but the other two are very good (Dark Hearts is my current no. 1) and I’ve always been a fan. She’s just put vinyl and cassette versions of the album up for preorder, along with some gorgeous merch. I’m gonna be skint for Christmas :kink:

This is out today, a more chill listen than I expected, but still good, Forever ‘92 is a jam. Unfortunately the physicals Have been delayed til 30 October, which will probably kill its vague chances at top 40 next week :(

This is such a good, consistent record. Annie really came back and delivered, just wish she would get some more attention, but then again, she has always been super underrated anyway.

This album is STUNNING. I'm shook!

So gorgeous! 'Forever '92' is outstanding.

Really enjoying this album - there's no obvious standouts but also no obvious fillers, just a consistently good album!

Not sure if this is going to be part of the Dark Hearts era or not (it uses the same logo / artwork style) but Annie released a new single Neon Lights (with Jake Shears) a few weeks ago, it's much more uptempo than the (sublime) album and lays perfectly into the 80s revival trend going on at the moment. It's so much fun!

And another new one has come out this week - Just Like Honey!

This one could bridge the gap nicely between the album + Neon Lights if a re-issue is indeed coming - it's such a well put together tracklist already.
