In one word I'd describe Jess Glynne as "forgettable" and Anne Marie as "irritable" :)

 

my biggest issue with Jess Glynne is that she doesn't deserve the accolade of being the UK female with most #1s

I don't really see the hate for either of them, but I deffo prefer Anne-Marie's music and quite enjoyed her album. I agree that Jess doesn't have the most exciting personality and she got quite lucky with a few of her #1's, but I haven't hated any of her songs and am interested to if she might mix it up a bit for her third album.

I will never forget Jess Glynn's performance on the Jools Holland NYE episode, something with her ear piece was not working and I don't think I have even seen someone so pissed off during a television performance.

I hope her new song is the eagerly anticipated collaboration with Anne-Marie the world has been crying out for. :cheer:

The Sun are reporting that multiple artists have recorded versions of the John Lewis Christmas advert song this year, with Jess being one of those! Only one will be chosen to actually be used of course, with the advert set to be out in the first couple of weeks in November.
