It was the most extraordinary frames I've ever seen in snooker. The heir to Taylor v Davis.

Already Ronnie O'Sullivan have levelled at 13-13 after being 13-9 down.

Well done Kyren Wilson and Anthony McGill both played their parts in an epic.

First time in Crucible history both semi finals have gone to a decider in the same year.

Very few in snooker moan about their cue action after scoring over 250 unanswered points and winning the decider to reach the World Championship final.

Favourite would be Ronnie going into this.

It was take something to match today the most extraordinary day of snooker I've seen.

Selby said afterwards: "I felt like it was a little bit disrespectful the way he played, every time I got him in a snooker he just went down and hit the ball at 100mph and it could have gone anywhere.

"Whether he was just in that frame of mind but felt it was a little disrespectful for me at the table."

Five-time champion Ronnie O'Sullivan was pegged back but leads Kyren Wilson 10-7 after a fascinating first day of the World Championship final.

O'Sullivan was gifted opportunities as he opened up an 8-2 lead but a rejuvenated Wilson responded by taking five of the next seven frames.

Ronnie O'Sullivan claimed his sixth World Championship title with a dominant 18-8 victory over Kyren Wilson.

O'Sullivan draws level with Ray Reardon and boyhood hero Steve Davis on world crowns, and surpasses Stephen Hendry on the all-time list of ranking event wins with a record 37 titles.

Although Wilson battled back to 10-7, O'Sullivan wrested total control with a run of eight frames on Sunday.

O'Sullivan, 44, is the oldest champion since Reardon, who was 45 in 1978.

The Englishman collects £500,000 in prize money, moving back up to second in the world behind last year's champion Judd Trump.

It was the biggest winning margin in a final since 2008, when O'Sullivan defeated Ali Carter by the same scoreline.

The man is a complete genius. The first snooker player.to win a ranking tournament in four separate decades. Incredible. His comebacks against Selby and Williams were brilliant.
