It seems Radio 2 are making a foray into the 2000s with their Pick of the Pops show fronted by Paul Gambaccini which looks at the charts of this week from a particular year. Not sure if they've done it before but today what better place to start than the year 2000!

 

I'll post the track and its UK chart placing, along with the video so we can relive, with the full Top 20 at the end.

    I think I'm a little stunned, 15th June we're getting 2005!

Ooh that's interesting. The fact that they are including the early 2000's now into what is essentially an oldies audience makes us feel old ourselves :')

 

Also they've been doing a couple of 1997 pops recently so this isn't surprising I guess. They normally didn't go beyond the years 1993/94 till this year!!

I have to remind myself this is 20 years ago and even though I was child I still remember all of this music and the charts vividly, so yep we are old.

Crikey I couldn't tell you the last time I heard Sing-A-Long and expected them to skip it, glad they didn't :wub:
