October 2, 20204 yr Lovesick Girls is great! This the most I've liked a BLACKPINK song on first listen (admittedly I've not heard many of their songs)
October 2, 20204 yr What a great comeback! Don’t remember who said, but it definitely has that golden age K-pop (late 2000s/early 10s) feel for me, it’s almost like an f(x) song. Checking the album out ASAP
October 2, 20204 yr This album is incredible from top-to-bottom. Lovesick Girls is HUGE but I could just as easily have seen Pretty Savage being the lead single because it’s also a banger! THE ALBUM: Initial Ranking 1. How You Like That 2. Ice Cream (feat. Selena Gomez) 3. Lovesick Girls 4. Pretty Savage 5. Love To Hate Me 6. Bet You Wanna 7. Crazy Over You 8. You Never Know Lovesick Girls will probably overtake Ice Cream soon enough and potentially HYLT at a later date also. Such a stellar debut. My one complaint: it’s way too short, a 24 minute running time does not a full-length album make.
October 2, 20204 yr What sort of sales would you predict for this? There's a lot of competition, I think #1 will be Queen or Bon Jovi Idk if this is optimistic but maybe like 25K overall for the week?
October 2, 20204 yr It's quite hard to predict sales for it, but I'd guess that Queen will do 30kish+
October 2, 20204 yr Dang. Lovesick Girls is FABULOUS. That chorus is beyond catchy. Less than 20 minutes of new music lmao. Three words though. Crazy. Over. You. It f***ing slaps SO hard *.* The whole thing is a bit patchy but it's not bad. Crazy Over You How You Like That Lovesick Girls ... You Never Know (NOPE) Pretty Savage and Bet You Wanna are meh so far.
October 3, 20204 yr https://hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=...OOMIN-BUSINESS 21 Savage and Metro Boomin will easily take the #1 spot on next Friday’s HITS Top 50. Epic shares this release with Republic, adding yet another #1 to the latter’s impressive 2020 run. Savage Mode II will log the largest weekly total yet for 21 Savage, whose best start hitherto was in December 2018, when I Am > I Was opened with 131k. This is Epic’s second #1 of the year following Future’s High Off Life, which debuted with 153k in May. Interscope's distaff K-Pop group BLACKPINK also appear headed for a six-digit bow. Here’s what we know at the moment. 21 Savage & Metro Boomin (Slaughter Gang/Epic/Boominati/Republic) 170-195k total activity, 14-17k album BLACKPINK (Interscope) 110-125k, 90-100k Bryson Tiller (RCA) 75-85k, 6-9k Lany (Interscope) 40-50k, 30-40k Bon Jovi (Island) 19-22k, 18-21k
October 3, 20204 yr 'Lovesick Girls' is HUGE sounding. I am floored :cheeseblock: Is that the next single?
October 3, 20204 yr They were sitting on Bet You Wanna & Lovesick Girls and they decided to LEAD INTO THE ALBUM WITH 'ICE CREAM'!? :(
October 4, 20204 yr They were sitting on Bet You Wanna & Lovesick Girls and they decided to LEAD INTO THE ALBUM WITH 'ICE CREAM'!? :(technically How You Like That is the lead :P
October 4, 20204 yr Hryms86U1cE They’re so adorable  can’t wait for the Dance Practice. Hopefully this is able break the Top 40 over here this week along with a Top 10 album.
October 5, 20204 yr An interesting thing I noticed is that David Guetta has a writing credit on 'Lovesick Girls'
October 6, 20204 yr It’s coming for a Top 5 debut here, I really hope that it hangs on! My ranking 5 days after the Album Release 1. How You Like That 2. Lovesick Girls 3. Ice Cream (with Selena Gomez) 4. Pretty Savage 5. Love To Hate Me 6. Bet You Wanna (feat. Cardi B) 7. Crazy Over You 8. You Never Know Such an incredible debut
