I voted for the entire top 6 as well so very good results on the whole, yay! (I admittedly don't really remember the Matt Darey song at all but I must have liked it to have given it some points :kink:) Dune and Carla Morrison robbed though. :snif:

Thanks all for the votes, especially Iz and Dandy* for the top marks. If you liked this one, I'd highly recommend their album, Stasiland, it's a series of tracks all taking spoken word real stories from survivors from around the time of the Berlin Wall coming down from around the border and combining it with dance music. It's really eye opening and creative.

OMG 4th! :cheer: :cheer: After hearing the first couple tracks in my listenthrough I was convinced that this would be dead on arrival! Thanks so much to everyone for the support and for Juan Carlos and Cameron for the top scores!

 

I found OTR bc one of his songs appeared in To All The Boys 2: P.S. I Still Love You and his stuff is pretty solid, would definitely recommend them especially this

I knew Waifu was predictable but I love that sort of hardcore, it also well represents the area where vocals in dance most matter to me, some simple lyrics leading into an instrumental chorus that reaccentuates the previous lyrics.

The soundbites of the GDR were what pushed it into my 12 realm, loved listening to it throughout and then that extra meaning confirmed it.

well, my entry was cheap enough to land at the very bottom this time :D Even the deduction hadn't helped!

Congrats Dandy! The track you sent managed to find place in my playlist, that's kind of achievement cuz I usually don't bother touching any of CB tracks after the contest. I think the only one was Get It Crackin by Re-Style remixed by Sefa (can't remember which entry it was).

What a horrible set of results that is! Other than Julia in 5th & Waifu top 10 all the other best tracks are floating near the bottom.

Yay for finally being in the top 10 leaderboard as well, and also at last no longer being behind anyone who has entered fewer contests than me :cheer: (though probably eternally 2nd last among people who have entered every edition xx)

First Top 10 :cheer: thank you to all you lovely people who voted! I had no idea they had won BJSC before oops, if I did I probably wouldn't have sent it but anything for a high position etc. Juan Carlos sending the only other song I knew in both Nuggets and Club Bizarre now :o I absolutely adore Shy though, it was in my EOY Top 10 back in 2016 so wouldn't have been right to give it anything other than full marks! :wub:

 

The UNKLE song also got high marks from me so a well deserved win for dandy* and thanks Jupiter for the great hosting!
