That Bamford disallowed goal blimey, that was a joke.

Two lovely finishes by him, Kenny should call him up before England play him vs Malta and he never plays for them again

That must be the worst penalty of the season from Lookman what was that? A failed Paneka.

It is ridiculous that your away in Europe on the Wednesday in turkey of all places and then first up on Saturday in the league

Yeah I totally agree with this. That was a good 3 points from Man Utd today too, Ole is just like one of those annoying spots that refuses to go away

Believe me it's bloody annoying. I barely even celebrated yesterday's result (ok I cheered when Cavani got off the mark) because it means absolutely nothing when we go and bottle it at home to West Brom next weekend.

Ole was right about the kick off time but gladly it didn't stop us from winning, we need to improve our home form as we still haven't won any home matches in the league so far. Our away form has been perfect though so we should keep that up.

I couldn't help but laugh out loud when I saw this penalty, it's one of those things that makes a player look so stupid if it doesn't come off properly and to do it with the last kick of the game must have been extra embarrassing for Lookman.

Another utterly bonkers offside decision.

I thought more than anything it was a strange thing to bring up straight after a good important win to be honest regarding the gap in fixtures.

OTOH, at least he couldn't be accused of whingeing after a defeat.

Il take that point at the etihad

Same here, we have a horrible record there recently. Pleasing we have 2 of our 3 most difficult away games out of the way where we always seem to drop points in recent likes (Etihad, Goodison and Old Trafford) and we are there or thereabouts at the top. The first half was mesmerising, but in the second both teams looked gassed and we both settled for a point. Still think the winner of the league will be either City or Liverpool.

Aston Villa are the third side in Premier League history to win each of their first three away games in a season without conceding a goal, after Chelsea in 2005-06 and Manchester City in 2015-16.
The Gomez one was technically a handball but giving a penalty just seems too harsh a punishment for things like that!

Before the season started I thought Aston Villa would get relegated but they have started this season well and have beaten some of the best teams in the league. Now it's hard to imagine that their form will become so bad that they would end up getting relegated. As for Arsenal it's just how they've typically been for the last 15 or so years, people talk about Arteta as if he's got a magic wand that will transform Arsenal into the side that they were in the late 90's and early 00's. One win away at a rival club and suddenly Arsenal are back, it's always going to be a short matter of time until they had this kind of result.

Another penalty rewarded for Leicester City, the eighth this season.

No wonder they're top of the table. Gonna sail pass our penalty record from last season at this rate!

The same people who thought Everton would win the league 3 weeks ago are now saying Spurs and Leicester have a chance  If Spurs are up there within a few points by Christmas I'll agree with their run in the next 7 City, Chelsea, Palace, Arsenal, Liverpool, Leicester, Wolves..

People just LOVE to push any narrative don't they? Nonsense to predict anything after 8 games let alone the league title

(Other than Fulham going down, that's about as nailed on as it possibly gets in football)

It's ridiculous. People forget Leicester and Spurs are in the Europa League too and are playing their B-team in the midweek games mostly. Leicester were right up there last Christmas too. They will challenge for the Top 4 - absolutely, but winning the league? They've got to hope that City and Liverpool have a LOT more off days.

Tottenham wont win anything this season let alone the league, the media are still hyped over that 6-1 win against us that would only happen once out of a thousand times. As for Leicester I don't even think they'll make it into the top 4.
