Due to a lack of dance releases this week, it was quite refreshing to discover a trance track doing quite well on iTunes today which we all love to see. ^_^

 

Jan Johnson is no stranger to chart success, but it has been almost 2 decades since her last Top 40 hit. :o

 

This new single out today is with DJ Xquizit and called Disorientated.

 

Now inside the iTunes Top 40! :o

 

What is making this one take off so well?

This being top 40 on iTunes seems a bit suspicious to me, DJ Xquizit had a track with Jessy make the iTunes chart for seemingly no good reason not so long ago too, I get the feeling it's another Kamaliya type situation with bought iTunes sales.

 

Especially as this MV only has 67 views and it's showing as >1k on Spotify.

Hope this becomes a hit and good to see Trance making a comeback

Even if its sales were real (which they obviously aren't) this would hardly qualify as 'trance making a comeback' lmao xx

This is very good. Hopefully something like TikTok will make trance take off again as a commercial genre.

 

It was sad that Sunset Brothers/Mark McCabe - Feeling It (In The Air) didn't become a hit a few years ago as it was doing quite well on itunes too I remember.
