Posted November 27, 200618 yr Introduction this below is the new single by Albert Hammond Jr called 101. [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQpyVp6Me94.swf Obv being a memeber of the Strokes he's had loads of hits. His dad on the other hand has had two, one called Free electric band in 1973 and a top ten hit with the Family Dogg in 1969 called A Way Of Life. However wondering if this band are more well known else where (so like Spain, Germany, Denmark) or was it a case of one hit and then they split, with him going into writing? and what are the famous songs that Albert Hammond has wrote. (also below the Family Dogg in the listings, well on the other page is a band called the Family Cat, where they the first people to use the FCUK thing or was French Connection also using it in the early 1990s??)

December 6, 200618 yr The Family Cat were ace and, indeed, did get to FCUK long before French Connection. Before Dedicated they were on Bad Girl records (if memory serves me correct) and released a number of great singles from 1988 (?) before fizzling out somewhat with 'Magic Happens' in 1994.
