Posted September 13, 20204 yr It has been over 4 years since Beyoncé released her last studio album Lemonade to critical acclaim. The marketing campaign for the album - an accompanying film premiering on HBO - was a major step-up from her previous records. Whether you like the album or not, it was an EVENT. Beyoncé did the unthinkable and surpassed her self-titled album campaign in terms of hype. Huge success and acclaim comes with a heap load of pressure though. How will she better Lemonade? A standard pop album in the vein of her earlier work would be somewhat underwhelming. She's already done the double-disc split sound concept with I Am... Sasha Fierce. Will we get a sequel to Lemonade? Will it be something very understated or maybe a reflection of the BLM movement? It's very difficult to predict where she will go. What is bigger than premiering a visual album on HBO? Album 7 must be coming in the next 6 months I would have thought.
September 13, 20204 yr I'd like to see her return to her 4 sound and maybe experiment with other genres like rock?
September 14, 20204 yr Author I would love a return to the 4 sound. I Miss You, Party and End Of Time. :drama: Maybe she could launch B7 with a live televised concert of all the tracks. :kink:

Which is a little bit like Lemonade come to think of it  I still think DC reunion will come before B7 though
