A long time coming, really, which makes room for some newer releases to enter the chart lower down as well as some post-album singles from Tame Impala and The Killers. Kygo's Hot Stuff remake enters fairly high considering it's a) a Kygo song that is not related to Avicii and b) it's a paint by numbers Kygo remix. I'm quite liking it so far definitely more than What's Love Got To Do With It and potentially more than Higher Love (which actually never charted here as it was more of a slow burner for me that realistically spent a few weeks in the 51-60 region). Also new is a "county" song by Keith Urban and Pink. I say "county" as it's about as hillbilly as Sam Hunt's Body Like A Back Road or Morgan Evan's Day Drunk were ... but I much prefer this :lol: I'm all for Pink "experimenting" with different sounds. Funny that of my new entries to the chart like half of them are from artists who have been releasing music for over a decade at the very least. Donna Summer, Pink, The Killers, Daryl Braithwaite, Daniel Bedingfield. Justin Bieber has been around for over 10 years now too which is a surprising thought. Glass Animals make it to #1 with Heat Waves which is by far my favourite song right now :dance: Perfect for the weather right now although I admit I haven't spent much time outside lately.. but it looks nice out :lol:

Time of My Life is quite nice as well although quite a way from my favourite of the Rubens songs. I might rank them at some point soon - all I know is this and Sending Me Ur Loving would be very close to the top I agree that Time of My Life is far from their best. Fun fact, every time I listen to cardigan, one quote always sticks out to me 'a friend to everyone is a friend to none'. Very true imo Hallucinate is finally growing on me 😂 I wish there were more songs as catchy as Physical on there though 😂 I'd say that's my favourite ever song by her. Ooo speaking of Cardigan, it's got a nice little chart run on here. Since I just started my chart up again, it's very likely that it'll be #1 on my chart on Wednesday. Exciting :jump: Taylor's whole album has some great lyrics on there, very quotable too! Exile and Cardigan will be on rotation for me for a long time coming still! :wub: Physical is an amazing pop song :dance: I love the whole album though. Levitating is growing on me more & more still I think it could challenge Break My Heart as my second fav from this era before long Hi Dexton! Good to see 24kGoldn and Glass Animals on the move up, and same with Levitating. Truly one of the defining songs of 2020 pour moi! Really found myself enjoying that Marshmello and Demi Lovato song too, she sounds great. You'll like this week! :lol: 2020 has been a pretty rough year all around but if there's one thing good that's happened it's Dua's ascension as a pop legend tbh. Future Nostalgia is just that album

Initially I thought it was a bit naff though 😂 Hallucinate is coming for my #1 next week 😂 I've decided to chart Physical as well though. I think those two might be my fave tracks she's done ever. Cardigan falling gracefully like a feather. I approve :clap: I just heard Kygos version of Hot Stuff. It's a bit eh... Imo. Midnight Sky had finally done a doozy on me as well. It's really good. I'm currently listening to Katy's new album. See the song Tucked, it's very Marina - Froot! Fantastic chart!

By far one of my favourites right now, it’s been very close to #1 for a couple of weeks too so I’m glad it’s managing it officially in multiple places! Head & Heart is very basic but it’s nice :lol: I’m glad someone else prefers Hallucinate to Don’t Stop Now! Don’t get me wrong it’s a great song but flopped here by comparison of her other big singles (#7 peak)... I like it but eh Thanks!

Also glad to see you are enjoying the Killers new material, in fact we have similar music tastes except I’m not as big a fan of Dua and the likes from what I can see though I don’t mind her that much.

Heat Waves is a great song I'm glad you like it too! I do really enjoy Killers new album also, I'm not sure if I prefer it to Wonderful Wonderful though as that was exceptional. Run For Cover remains in my Top 5 songs from the band!
September 29, 20204 yr Hey Dexton! Great number 1, 'Heat Waves' is such a tune! And the video is pretty clever too, easily the best lockdown video I've seen :D Lots of decent new entries too - I'm quite enjoying Bieber's 'Holy' despite its lukewarm reception. It's a million times better than his last lead single! 'One Too Many' is nice enough too, even though it's not a patch on Pink's solo stuff. 'Hot Stuff' is probably the weakest of Kygo's 80s remakes but still perfectly enjoyable. And The Killers' 'Blowback' is actually the perfect choice for next single! Hopefully it will get some radio play and keep the album selling into Q4 :) Nice chart as per!
