Midnight Sky sure has grown on me too! Fingers Crossed is very 'Froot' don't you think? Bye bye steps. I thought you'd be a bigger fan of their new track. Great chart!

Sharlene Hector - Step It Up {14-14} :o nice to see somebody else charting AVH! 39 ★ Sofi Tukker, Novak & YAX.X - Emergency {39} this is okay, not as good as House Arrest Magic straight to number 1 next week ? :P LOVING this AVH track, super disco and not to far off from 'Strings Of Life' which is a classic! 'Emergency' pales in comparison to 'House Arrest' but it might still climb, feels a bit early for it to drop out already ha! :lol: Kylie is always guaranteed a hit here but let's see what happens to 'Magic' - the first single was way more immediate for me and I never really know who ends up at #1, Sam Smith is the proof in the pudding I thought he'd be low Top 10. I used the Preference Sorter to sort out all the songs, keeps it exciting as I basically only find out the #1 at the very last minute [Dua Lipa's 'Hallucinate' only entering at #5 and Smith & Thell going #1 by the skin of their teeth were recent big surprises for me! The video for '911' really converted me as I wasn't a fan of the song, or indeed the album, for the longest time - I've finally ordered the picture vinyl but I do desperately want 'Replay' as a single! Now don't revoke my gay card, but I never really got into 'Froot' :ph34r: I was a big fan of 'Family Jewels' and was on board the 'Electra Heart' train but nothing she's done since has resonated with me :( Still, 'Fingers Crossed' is a bop so I might give 'Froot' another chance! The Steps track is a bit by numbers though - fun, catchy and all that sure, but just a bit predictable. I've warmed up to it more this week so expect it to climb a bit but I would be surprised to see them in Top 10. If they release 'Something In Your Eyes' as the 2nd single though, that might have a chance! :lol: x

September 29, 20204 yr 'Diamonds' is an improvement over Sam's last few releases, I don't see myself charting it though, 'Dancing With A Stranger' remains the only song I really enjoyed from the album. I heard SEB's take on CATD today and didn't think much of it, she hasn't changed it so I may as well listen to the original version really. '911' has re-grown on me since the video too, it is one of the best MVs I've seen this year, I don't usually care for MVs anymore. great to see 'Away With Me' climbing big and Armand van Helden top 20 too (it's in my top 50), I love that intro. 'Emergency' is sadly a bit of a letdown for Sofi Tukker - 'House Arrest' took a while but eventually grew on me but I don't see it happening for this.
