Following WAP and Savage's success, she is back! Excited to see what she comes out with, and to see if she can replicate the same success without Tik Tok and Cardi!

It's a shame that Girls In The Hood never took off on the back of Savage, but hopefully she can get another hit off the WAP hype ( assuming this is any good)

I think it depends on how accessible the song is. Girls In The Hood was never going to take off in the charts, but I think she's a big enough name that a follow-up hit of a similar sound to Savage, WAP or even something a bit more pop-leaning would do really well. She's in a good position in her career right now!

I'm excited! She's been on such a roll this year.

It's weird that 'Girls In The Hood' has been a pretty big hit in the US (obviously not as big as the 3 songs of hers that did cross over to the UK but still a top 40 with pretty good longevity) and yet made quite literally zero impact at all in the UK, not even making the top 200 on Spotify. It's kind of reminiscent of how Halsey had a couple of big US hits as the main artist while she continued to only be able to chart at all as a feature in the UK, up until 'Without Me' of course. Kind of implies that her three UK hits have all been down to other things (the collaborators and/or being big on TikTok) and she's not actually yet established any kind of following of her own. Maybe it'll be different this time after how huge 'WAP' has been, not to mention the whole Tory Lanez situation.

 

I just hope this is a better song than 'Girls In The Hood', that came across as extremely by the numbers and bland to me.

I don't think this is the song she needed to have a hit but we will see.

This is great! I love that this and Girls In The Hood are trying different genres and doing something interesting instead of being the bog standard trap a lot of rappers are doing right now, those and me loving WAP in the end have made me excited for her as an artist.

I wasn’t sure about Megan at first but I’m loving her as an artist now. Like Liam says, she’s doing something a bit different to most rappers at the moment. And that VIDEO! Amazing.

I would have thought after Savage and WAP, she could have charted fairly decently!

Definitely an improvement on 'Girls In The Hood', I love the instrumental of this - unfortunately the hook isn't really doing much for me at the moment which makes the song feel like it's dragging a bit by the end (very similar to the problem I had with Doja Cat's 'Boss Bitch'). Can see it being a grower though.

Girl, you have done it again. This is the year of the Stallion for me - didn't really know much of her before this year but she's bringing it with "Savage", "WAP", "Girls In The Hood" and now this. Work it bitch.
