Posted November 28, 200618 yr Unfortunately it wasn't about me but when I saw the title I was amazed! :o The blog can be found on the Snow Patrol website CLICK HERE TO READ BLOG I've copied and pasted it for you! in la la land 15 Mar 2006 by garyL. in la. all roads seem to lead in circles. or nowhere. everywhere seems to be 40 minutes away. everywhere. wherever you are or wherever you're going if you ask you'll get the answer 40mins. surely this is impossible. no? just spent the last two days shooting the video for hands open (as the american label wanted to go with this as first single). the video is a mind bending reality head ****. should look great. was directed by patrick daughter who did the last yeah yeah yeah's vid 'gold lion'. good to see the artwork has got you all talking. to be honest we had nothing to do with it and we were running out of time so had to pick something we could agree on. we're not artists so artwork is always the hardest bit towards the end of putting the record together. i guess one of the central themes is the connection (albeit broken sometimes) between two people........ it's what's on the record that counts though so don't worry if you don't like the art. the record is good.
