have you seen the trailer for this. i so totally thought it was gonna be a trailer for a new show on itv2 when it started, the amount of $ spent on FX must be about the same as a weekly tv series. v. supernatural.

What I've read on IMDb about this film fills me with absolute dread..... "Directed by Renny 'my last two or three films sank without trace and went straight-to-DVD' Harlin"..... Pretty much says it all....

A lot of American teen girls liked it because of the bountiful supply of man-ass on display....

It's basically "The Craft" with boys...

I saw the trailor for this last night and they had that movie guy with the deep voice doing the narration thing and he made it sound really c**p.

The Craft was good though!

There was absolutely nothing in here that hadn't been done a lot better in "The Craft" or "Charmed" to be honest... They even had this sort of 'family magic book' called "The Book of Damnations"....  and the really generic, bland, prettyboys/girls are all so interchangeable you'll frankly be wondering which character is actually which.. All the male actors seem to have graduated from the Hadyn "Anakin Skywalker" Christopher Academy of wooden acting....

It's a TV movie-of-the-week somehow been given cinema space for some peculiar reason....

yeah man! its a v v girly film (for those on p50 of the OMM MCR feature this month no less)

not as good as smallville by a long way!! but at least Laura Ramsey is graduating in stature in her film roles. but then again she started out in the real cancun

probs been given cinema space because film comps know that they can release the theatrical film and then the 'extended unrated' film with probs a bit more flesh of Laura for the boys (i.e one more minute, a nipple flash and someone saying the word fuck!!!)

well slightly disagree there. yeah man most of the leads were total planks however wtf wsa up with Sebastian Stan (Chase)'s face, seems to be not only channeling the expressions of all the other cast but john travolta in face/off too.

actually thought the film would have been better if his part was played by Lewis Black!!!!

and if penguins replaced the spiders (from Happy Feet thru Deck the Halls to this has been a long day and i could have done with a good laugh at the end of it!!!!)

v boring!!!

I thought Renny Harlin's direction was decent, certainly a lot better than the script deserved (the script deserved Uwe Boll... )..... There were occasional flashes of one of Harlin's better films in the action sequences, but then when the actors were required to actually speak, it all came crashing down again....

Why the hell doesn't Harlin seem to get good scripts to work with anymore....? He's miles better at action than Michael Bay is.... I reckon something like "Deja Vu" would've been tailor made to get him back in the Action Director's A-list
