Real Groove has to be over 5k now with sales from last week and sales picked up since disco was released.

I thought I saw 17.3k? Or was I making that up?

Officially #95! :cheer: It sold 3.9k to get there, taking its total to 17.3k.

#10 on sales and downloads too.

From PopJustice:

Singles chart

95 (NEW) Real Groove

Sales: 3,890

Streams (paid for) 265,717

Streams (ad funded) 20,013

Video streams 32,926

#14 on radio too! ‘Say Something’ reached #11 and ‘Magic’ reached #18.

I'm predicting #96, and maybe a little under 4,000 sales.

Not a bad guess! *.* I'm glad it managed a place higher than that.

Real Groove sales are up +165.1% on the previous week. That means last week (1st Jan) its sales would have been 1467. It's hard to estimate the downloads it would have achieved in that week because there's not quite enough information. Real Groove was #25 in the sales chart... the #24 sold 734 copies, but I don't know what #26 sold. #27 sold 655. So Real Groove was anywhere between 655 and 734.

Anyway, we know the total sales for Real Groove would have been these figures over the past 3 weeks:

08/01/2021 - 17,339

01/01/2021 - 13,449

25/12/2020 - 11,982

And it sold 3,890 this week - majority coming from streams which is a first

Say Something & Magic also had the majority of sales come from streams! In fact Say Something's first week had a higher proportion of streaming sales than Real Groove has this week. The last time the majority of sales were pure was Stop Me From Falling.

Dedication. ❤️

Real Groove will go higher. I am 98.5% sure of it.

Real Groove deserves to be a decent streaming hit. Both versions are excellent, though the album version is superior.

Real Groove is up to 11 on the rolling airplay chart and it was great to see it achieved 856 plays last week across 155 stations. So it’s not just R2.

Remember Kylie Disco is being promoted by Bauer radio group. So she will get plays on Magic, Hits, maybe even Kiss etc.

55 and 126 on iTunes ans sticking around.

Remember only the Dua Remix has been released so far.

Wait for something else to come

Streaming should remain strongish

Both versions of Real Groove now into the iTunes top 100

48 Studio 2054 Remix

89 Real Groove album version (this has found its way top 100 without any release as an edit/EP etc like the other singles got)

Let's go!

I'm sure there is a few legs left in real groove yet, multiple remixes and a possible physical so we might be lucky and see it chart higher in the coming weeks.

2,586,202 (+274,083) Worldwide Spotify streams on Friday.

Physical release is the only way it can go higher I think. The sales needed for top 100 were super low last week, it's not happening again.

But nothing except Dua remix has been released yet?

Once that beautiful pic of her in Green is attached to an Itunes EP and another remix to stream as well as Dua..

Never say never

Ya I kinda think the same, I think if its released plus a couple of new remixes in the same week it could get top 75.

The Kylie and Dua Remix Just got its first play on Capital FM

2781,788 streams Saturday. Biggish drop. Just less than 200,000 worldwide streams Saturday

The Kylie and Dua Remix Just got its first play on Capital FM

Capital need to continue supporting the release.

Capital need to continue supporting the release.

It was only played because of the Big Top 40, unfortunately :(

(so I assume they played it last week as well, it's at #39 this week down from #7)

Dua Lipa would need to promote Real Groove more to attract radio attention
