And right you were! Of course it's a sham, but should make for some good viewing. Heather Peace is a great actress

I do like Eve so far.

I’ve seen some speculation that the baby delivered to Sharon’s might actually be Denny’s but I very much doubt it.

It would seem they're going down the route of us thinking it's Zack's but it could be Martin's. Possibly a lockdown, off-screen affair before marrying Ruby?

So the Sean return rumours were true! But what a BIZARRE return!
I spent most of that episode wondering how Janine and Mick didn't know each other but it seems Janine was one of the people interested in buying the Vic before she got arrested in late 2013 meaning Mick and Linda swooped in as a result. She did return to Walford though briefly before her exit so should've met them if not briefly?

She spoke to Linda in her last episode in 2014 but I don’t know if Mick was there.

EDIT: he definitely wasn’t:

I actually quite liked Nancy before, she's intolerable now. I can see right through this writing though.. she will feel bad about Frankie and everything will be forgotten once more

Not this turning out to be true

It seems they realised they messed up destroying the biological Watts family tree.

Jon Sen has announced he's leaving as exec producer with Chris Clenshaw taking over. It hasn't exactly been iconic with Jon at the helm, but he has tried I guess; some good returns and new characters have been established (e.g. The Panesars). Chris previously storylined for Stacey's post-partum story, Peggy's exit and Ruby's sexual assault so he knows a thing or two about drama. Kate Oates will produce until Chris joins in the New Year.

Jon sen wasnt the worst but equally far from the best.Lets hope Chris Clenshaw can add some magic to the show and build on some of Sens better work.

I think the show is suffering from not having standout storylines that get people talking so hopefully Clenshaw can work on that.

They’ve had Vi wrong from the off. They thought they’d landed a meme-ful character that everyone would love but she just became a horrible bigoted woman that oddly no one would challenge. Now they’ve realised that didn’t work they’re now trying to add some heart and even this isn’t working.

I’m not sure how Stuart doesn’t know. By the dates he’d have been 10 and I know he was in and out of care but if he really had such a great relationship with his Nan, surely they’d have seen each other? Or his dad would have mouthed off about it at some point over the years?

And when she finds Christopher, then what? Where would the story even go?

I preferred Vi at the beginning to how she is now, i think you are right though they are trying to completely change her direction and i dont think it will work although callum, stuart and rainie who were great charactors for a while have also went off the boil. Kim and Chelsea are the best characters right now.
