That film gave me literal nightmares and sleepless nights as a kid, the scenes where the Banshees arrive and whisk away people was scary much.

 

Sean is a screen legend of course. I've been rewatching the very early 60's Bond's recently, the only one I could sit through again now is Goldfinger, saved by a great cast and especially Honor Blackman challenging stereotypes. Connery is great in all of them, though, lean and cool and dangerous. He always played Connery in his films, and the films got even better as he got older.

 

Check out his outfit in 70's sci-fi movie Zardoz if you want a "eh, what!?" moment. Never shown on TV beyond the 80's...
