Posted November 19, 20204 yr Back in 2018 we got that weird XMAS Holi-Slay Spectacular one-off show which ended with everyone watching getting blue balled as EVERYONE was a winner which was a dud to say the least. We got some weird scenes like that Ru & Michelle fake lipsync battle with stunt doubles and Jasmine Masters as the plastic bag from Katy Perry's "Firework" but also some amazing looks from various queens. But who do you think was the real winner of the show? November 19, 20204 yr Author Eureka 08.0 Entrance look (I really like this look, fits her body well and looks elegant AND christmassy!) 06.0 80's look (It's not great but also not bad. Most of the 80s looks are just okay and I think this is one of the most okay) 10.0 Christmas look (I love this. She looks great and it tells a story! Say what you want about Eureka but she knows how to turn a look!) Jasmine Masters 06.5 Entrance look (Not sure what she's going for here but it looks good on her. Can't see a XMAS connection here though) 05.5 80's look (Like Eureka it's just okay. She looks somewhat 80's enough to pass) 07.0 Christmas look (This is just so delightfully weird that I kind of stan it?? It's like a poorly wrapped christmas present) Kim Chi 09.0 Entrance look (Yessss!! I love this! Kim Chi is usually either a BIG HIT or a BIG MISS for me and this is surely the former) 02.5 80's look (This, however is easily the latter. I hate the colour and the fit and it just doesn't look great) 09.5 Christmas look (Again with a hit though. Out of the box is one way of putting it!) Latrice Royale 05.5 Entrance look (Latrice as a big queen struggles with not really knowing what fits her body IMO. This would have looked better in a little bit bigger size but it just makes her look like Ms Claus doesn't want to admit to herself she put on a lot of weight) 06.0 80's look (It's another okay 80's look. I like the aerobics look and the colours but again none of them really took it to another level) 07.5 Christmas look (This is definitely her best look here. It looks good on her and she looks classy but maybe not quite christmassy) Mayhem Miller 06.5 Entrance look (Great fit and obvious Christmas reference but it's very safe and boring) 04.0 80's look (Not a lot of thought put into this one and it doesn't do it for me at all) 11.0 Christmas look (This, however is by far my favourite look of the show. Such a twister and great take on Christmas to do Krampus instead and she looked great. This really made me excited to see her on AS5 but she kinda flopped there lol) Shangela 07.5 Entrance look (Good look, she looks christmassy, elegant and like a beautiful elf!) 08.0 80's look (Probably my favourite 80's look of the night. She doesn't go stereotypical 80's but still there's no denying this is 80's all the way!) 09.0 Christmas look (I love this. Quite outside the box to do a snowman but it works so well. This really just goes to show how robbed she was of winning in AS3.) Sonique 09.5 Entrance look (I don't think a lot of people had high hopes for Sonique at that time but she has come and she HOLI-SLAYED this show. Such a gorgeous WOMAN and she honestly just looks stunning like a sexy Santa Monroe.) 07.0 80's look (Another good one that is somewhat outside of what most people thought to do. It's nothing groundbreaking but she looks like an 80's rocker chick which none of the other girls thought to do) 08.5 Christmas look (I love this. So simple but so clever. Gorgeous ginger-bread woman and it just suits her so well!) Trixie Mattel 05.0 Entrance look (Trixie coming here off her win from AS3 was a bit interesting. Her drag style is so not my cup of tea and while she does try her make-up just always ruins it for me.) 03.0 80's look (Again the make-up takes me from the fantasy of this being even remotely 80's. Also the outfit just looks like she grabbed a mish-mash of clothes from a retro store and called it a day) 06.5 Christmas look (I like the idea but again the make-up kills it. The outfit itself is good but there are far better outfits)
November 19, 20204 yr Pains me to say that but Eureka slayed this. I loved Kim Chi too. Trixie's 80s look is stunning and fun and you DJafet don't know what you're talking about :angry:
