Back up to #187 on Itunes right now

 

Forever returning from outside of the Top 1500 to #187 like

 

#161 now, when will your faves with a 20 year old album. Couple more downloads and it will be top 100 again.

Any idea on what number it is in the midweek charts?

Spice fans are having one last push for downloads before midnight to try to make sure it charts. Forever is up to #74 on itunes, #32 on Amazon and #3 on 7 digital.

 

Edit - up to #68 on itunes and #14 on Amazon

 

Edit - #57 on itunes it's early week peak at the beginning of the campaign was #45 would be nice to outdo that.

Forever holds a special place in my heart as it came out after my parents awful divorce in late '99. My mum was a single parent when it came out and struggling with money big time but she still got it me on release day (and my sister Westlife). Might sound nothing but 2 cd albums then was nearly £25.

 

The album was my escape from the crap times that Christmas 2000. People can mock but for some people just seeing it top 100 on itunes is a great feeling.

 

 

What a lovely backstory to the album in that it helped you! Spiceworld has similar feelings for me as I used it as a mechanism against bullying used to get home put it on full blast and pretend I was in spiceworld (or a spice girl as I did the routines and put on a concert 😅). I still get that feeling of relief playing it today! ❤️

I think it is very hard for people who weren't around for their peak to understand just how powerful they were as a group. Not just the music but the message.

#48 on itunes, 4 places off its peak
