Sorry I can't help chrysalis even when I know what you are referring to.

No it isn't a virus TT - it's as Suggy says Internet Explorer 7.

 

It came up to be downloaded, and my fella seemed to think it was a good idea. :rolleyes: But ever since I haven't been able to post pics, some smilies, and other things. :angry: He's not heard the last of it, as I learnt after the event that Microsoft haven't made it completely compatible, and there certainly was a problem if you had BT Broadband, but I'm with Orange and there's still a problem. :(

 

The moral of this story is trust your own instincts and not others. :huh:

Chrysalis we had a nightmare when we updated to IE6 :huh: Our PC is reaaaalllllyyyy old :blush: and was running on IE5, so when the box popped up to update to IE6, well I just clicked it ;) The PC just refused to work. We couldn't get it to do anything :lol: Our repair guy had to take it away and return it to IE5, and he has no idea why it wouldn't run on IE6 :wacko:

 

Deffo going to buy a new PC in January. There is a new system out in 2007, I think it's called Windows Vista.

I've just got to get rid of it somehow F/G - it's driving me crazy. If the worst comes to the worst, as I can't drive until Christmas, I'll have to get my fella to take it to the computer repair place in town. The thing is my computer is only about a year old and although there was the odd blip, it was working quite happily on IE6.
